TIL kebab-case is a thing. Now every time I see a file I get hungry.

I have deleted my last two skeets shitting on AI. Not because my views have changed, but because I don’t want to echo generic negativity. People who are much better at writing than me are reporting in a much better fashion, and are including sources, statistics and context.

January goals: ✅ book a tattoo apt

I understand that it’s easy but I ask to consider your confirmation bias when adding an AI generated images to your blog posts, journalistic articles and PowerPoint presentations. I promise you it’s not doing what you want it to be doing.

Jellyfin might just be too much for that poor little thing

Self hosted on a RPi 4 with SSD: 💾 Syncthing - game saves between consoles ⛔️ Adblock home - LAN wide DNS filtering 📝 Obsidian LiveSync - vault storage 📺 Jellyfin - home entertainment 🐳 Portainer - debugging 🕹️ Transmission - p2p sharing

When was the last time you stretched your eyelids? Like REALLY stretched them until you feel the muscles bulge? Highly recommend doing so, especially at your in-laws’ dinner table!

Any article that contains the phrase “researchers find” or “scientists discovered” should be approached with a healthy amount of scepticism. At the very least, it’ll incorrectly explain what actually matches reality. Worst case, the authors aim to do harm or sell snake oil…

Install AV on your DC, pretty please with sugar on top? 🥹🙏

Before you leave work today, hug your security operations team and kiss your servers. Pray that they don’t turn on you while you enjoy the holidays 🙏

When writing alt text, is it sensible to include colours, or would feelings and sensations provide better context? Like, “a bright blue sky” might be less intuitive than “a clear sky”, no?

✨Don’t forget to put your password Post-It’s in your desk drawer before the holidays! 🤞

When dogging, would it technically be possible for the penile equipment to thrust from such angles and speed that the eggies flip over and land on top? 🧐

🦄 Can you guess how many remote access tools are used by your sysadmins? ✨ Hint: it’s more than you know 🌈

It would be a real shame if another critical RCE would be made public this time of year

Very insightful post on the offence side of things. From a dev/def side I’d like to add; don’t let your ego get in the way. A developer is bound by rules as to how software functions, and devs use and interpret these to the best of their abilities. Vulnerabilities in your code happen, it’s a given.

How many side quests do you have going right now?

How are you progressing on that project you bought a domain name for? Did you finish it yet?

Goodness I regret following that starter pack

Check this out. Do it. Do it.
