At an old zoo built long before I was born was a tiger who'd been given a life sentence without the possibility of parole. Humans tended to make it unhappy. Little wonder, the rude creatures gawking. Being with kids in class in Singapore remains a favorite adventure. She did me justice with her picture, don't you think? (I can go anywhere people take me.) When asked if I make a living off of making #art, I reveal that I live to make art, and earn a living so I can. Van Gogh, Gauguin, Modigliani, Rembrandt, just to name a few more notables, died impoverished. It's a cold, cruel world for artists. It seems the best are always broke, and often starving.
