great moment in our d&d game. monster was only half health and it was late so we were going to pause. a pc tried to grapple it off of a bridge but failed. we're in the process of wrapping and then "wait, wasn't it baned?" roll the bane and sure enough its exactly enough for the grapple to succeed.
