Sometimes I play games. Sometimes I write about games. Sometimes I’m even clever and funny when I do these things, but definitely not when I write bios.

I see our fun blogs made, as my partner puts it, "Made white dudes type paragraphs."

but if i'm not allowed to feed artists into my artist killing machine it's going to be basically impossible for the machine to keep killing artists. is that what you want?? and before you answer keep in mind this is a very expensive machine

I wrote a tribute to Leif Johnson, a former writer for many gaming publications, and my friend, who died last weekend. The world is poorer without him in it.

As part of @pcgamer.com's Witcher 3 10th anniversary celebrations, I was asked to write about the whole Tub Geralt thing, aka, the most notable thing I have done in my career. www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/ce...

You know those videos where vets tell you what dogs they'll never own? Roblox is like that but for video game journos

Google standing over the body with a bloody knife: "Who could have committed this grizzly murder? I'll get to the bottom of it!" #AI #Google

We’re so fucking cooked. >.<

went in expecting an anime recommendation, got ambushed by some of @shineyezehuhh.bsky.social’s finest writing yet on anime, internet culture, and like, 12 other interconnected issues

In the latest episode of Human Can Opener I talk to PCGamer’s Ted Litchfield @dilfpatrol.bsky.social about his love for cRPGs, what he thought of Disco Elysium Mobile and C4, and our recommendations for games that we think DE fans will love! Human Can Opener S2E10 youtu.be/8FxRj2j200E

The sharpest piece of games industry analysis this year and it fits in a skeet

It is with great sadness that I report that I did not, in fact, write this. Our boy @joshuawolens.bsky.social with one of the best pieces yet on understanding U.S. tariff policy. Required reading tbh www.pcgamer.com/games/strate...

Most editors will go their whole careers without ever getting to write a headline this good www.pcgamer.com/games/strate...

the Marathon alpha released recently and its environments are covered with assets lifted from poster designs i made in 2017. @bungie.net @marathonthegame.bungie.net

i remember white south africans being stupid and evil but maybe that’s just the mandela effect

For everyone who was like “Google search is getting worse,” we were absolutely right.

hey just some quick feedback. the groceries -> cooking -> washing up loop feels too tight, it’s like I’ve only cooked a few times before I have to start over again. it’s a reliable resource sink for sure but it would be great to not have to do it so often. can we do a tuning pass

surprise!!!!! i will be contributing to aftermath and i could not be more thrilled to have my writing on this website with these incredible writers!!!!!

Rascal sat down with the System Mastery folks to chat about what they've learned from the last decade of reading RPGs and Always Being On. "I can't believe it. They actually talk like this in real life. They always do it."

*clambers up on a soapbox* I'm fine with Expedition 33 not having a waypoint marker. The level design does a really good job of signposting and having a point on the horizon to move toward. Also, the minimalism makes the world more immersive while encouraging exploration. Down with waypoints!

If you used #AI to write, you didn't #write. You used a robot to plagiarize real writers, which you are not. Why is this still a discussion? There's no magic loophole that grants you the moral high ground. You use a bot and pretend you're amazingly creative, but you're just a lazy thief. #Writing

"Sydney Sweeney could have an entire career of choosing only hits, of never taking a break, and still not reach the kind of money the generation before her made more or less passively once their work was done."

You forgot to mention she resigned in protest in January after you killed her cartoon about your plutocrat owner.

You know that Twilight Zone episode where the kid has amazing psychic powers and can make people disappear with his mind and the entire town is hostage to him and has to cater to his every whim? That’s us right now.

"waaahh its hard growing up a boy" motherfucker its hard growing up as anyone, anywhere, but growing up a white boy is the easiest character roll you can get. the manliest thing you can do is shut the fuck up and learn to be nice to people?

I'm incredibly thankful for my friends at @pcgamer.com who are letting me do more of this while I figure everything out. www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/bl...

In response to the Polygon and Giant Bomb news, I created an indie and worker-owned games media starter pack. I’ll keep adding to it, so suggestions and recommendations are greatly appreciated. Please share!

I think my idea of what it means to be a Good Man was largely imprinted on my child brain by Leonardo, Cyclops, and Optimus Prime
