My FTL play-style is so cruel. Enemy crew are psychically forced to kill each other as they burn and suffocate. 😱

Death Stranding was a PS4 exclusive first in 2019, then got a Windows port in 2020 and came to Mac and iOS in 2024. Given Kojima Productions' success with the first game's ports, the Windows port of Death Stranding 2 might come sooner, and the Windows and Mac ports may come out together. 🤞

Needless to say, the knee-strike is my favourite combat move in Death Stranding. I also love how power gloves, including the Silver Hand from Cyberpunk 2077, can send enemies flying with one punch. By the way, I wish I'd gotten the hang of throwing objects at enemies sooner. 😆

Fragile's rejuvenated appearance in Death Stranding 2 supports a theory I have about Timefall. Could controlled, limited exposure to Timefall effectively inoculate against ageing and slow its natural progression?

@katwatchesfilms.bsky.social Do you think I can count Cade: The Tortured Crossing as a 2025 film? It only just came out for home media (aside from a DVD you could only order from Neil Breen's website), but had its international cinema run in 2023, not last year.

I have a feeling that Ben Shapiro would probably hate Death Stranding, as he’d view the in-game systems of porters sharing resources and vehicles, building and repairing structures to help each other out and equitably claiming what you need from a unified pool as socialism.

The two settlements in Death Stranding I have the most affinity for are Mountain Knot City and the Distribution Centre South of Lake Knot City.

Death Stranding just had its first crash on my M1 Max Mac Studio. I’m not concerned, though, as one crash in 128 HOURS of gameplay is pretty damn good.

It's weird how in the 1998 video game Ring, which is a bizarre epic sci-fi adaptation of Wagner's Ring opera, the Norse gods Woden/Odin and Loge/Loki have more of an ancient Egyptian aesthetic than a Norse design.

A Minecraft Movie isn't very good, but one aspect I appreciated was how Natalie (Emma Myers) is the main ass-kicker of the group.

We finally have a release date — April 30 — for the Mac port of Robocop: Rogue City! The Mac game I'm looking forward to the most is Cyberpunk 2077 (now that Control for Mac is already out), but I'm still eager to play Robocop: Rogue City on my Mac Studio.

As a suspenseful but very funny monster movie full of brilliantly witty dialogue, I enjoyed Death of a Unicorn so much that it's currently number four in my list of this year's films thus far (under Mickey 17, Companion and Nosferatu).

I really enjoyed Death of a Unicorn, and my review for next week’s paper ends with the line ‘Like Gorgo in the trappings of Saltburn.’ I’m not sure if I’ll ever write a better line than that.

I’m an only child, so I’m not certain how I would behave under these circumstances, and I know films like The Monkey exaggerate for comedy, but it honestly upsets me that some siblings can be so cruel to one another. I don’t blame Hal for wanting the monkey toy to kill his sadistic brother Bill.

This Apple TV synopsis for Companion is REALLY misleading. [MILD SPOILERS, BUT THEY'RE ALL IN THE TRAILER ANYWAY] Iris, the android protagonist, doesn't go haywire; she is hacked and manipulated into murder by her abusive boyfriend, and spends much of the movie trying to escape from him.
