Ah yah thatās a different issue and actually a reason to not include dark mode in a first version. Why complicate feedback on a visual bug vs product performance?
comment in response to

Now, if you support dark mode and the UI is broken in light or dark for some reason, thatās a bug.

If your TestFlight users are other engineers and your app isnāt built for them, youāre focusing on the wrong type of TF users.
You want real users using it; not random people that wouldnāt use it if they werenāt also engineers.

There is TestFlight on Mac now.
It is all a bit confusing and not documented as well as it could be.

I see. Yah Iām trying to sign it so it can run on other co-workers Macs. However the notary tool and tutorial for it seem to only be for Mac apps. So itās unclear what the right method is here.

No catalyst target. Only ādesigned for iPadā.

Itās required to sign it but Iām trying to figure out whether itās supposed to be notarized with a Mac certificate (which it doesnāt seem like an option) vs an iOS one. The intention is to run it on Macs.

+1 left X and havenāt missed anything.
Agree about the creator vs consumer. 80 / 20 rule-ish.

Iāve gotten much higher engagement on Threads. Despite having 10x followers in X, engagement and reach were basically nothing.

Do you schedule across all platforms?

I donāt recall saying that, but it is rare lol.

Fair, but isnāt that expected? If you keep posting there of course there will be more engagement there.
I find better engagement on threads in comparison but then again I stopped using X 6+ months ago.

One of the reason I feel Apple engineers should be able to make their owns apps. Thereās a lack of full understanding when youāre not able to use the thing youāre building for in the same way others can.

I find it pretty helpful.
I also started using Cursor.ai and itās pretty amazing and very helpful at doing first passes and boilerplate.
