I'd certainly hope it felt like a luxury car at that price point. But, the improvement in quality assurance and after-purchase support would also be crazy going from Tesla to BMW.

Which car did they check out that they liked so much?

Could ABS factor in the margin of error? As in, if it's down to a 0.1 inch difference on a call, it defers to the umpire's original ruling?

When will they learn??

What did you think of Wick's stuff today? It looked okay for a first outing, but it's hard to tell without any data.

No apology needed, we were all shuffling around to figure something out.

It feels like it took less than a week for Elon Musk's Nazi salute to become old news. It's wild to think, but we might be underestimating current times.

Josef is the actual jumpscare because it was the only one that got people looking up from their phones with the swimmer joke. At least that was the case for the party I'm at.

This was really cool to read. Thanks for sharing it here.

The firing is definitely valid, but it does stink that a very talented umpire (among the best by scorecards if I recall) will no longer be in the game.

Going to the dump is so cathartic. You just huck your shit on the pile and then it’s society’s problem. Just like posting

So... The most frequent winning pitching strategy in fantasy is Stars & Scrubs?

There's no reason it can't be all three!

Using this to convince my wife it's a good thing that I've started collecting cards again.

I'd love for us to sign Yates + Jansen/Estevez. If we were ready to commit to the AAV for Scott and have to settle for older arms, let's land two and give ourselves some depth.

I need to move my email again? I'm tired, boss.

Only running the Sacramento Athletics 200 if we're using John Fisher's body as the finish line.

I read my first Reacher novel in junior high and tore through the series. This piece sums up all the things that sucked me in and was a not bad but also certainly not good influence.

Ultimate April Fools is capturing an armadillo down south and leaving it in this guy's trash can.

Will he have a ball drop?

It's worse when you consider that the White Sox had more confidence than the 10 other teams.

I've got a rye bread dip recipe that will make you question your self control.

This is an interesting contrast to scouting reports that talk about his long swing and secondary pitch struggles causing inconsistency. What if he can actually be consistent but is just a slow starter?

Fair. The Cubs love to make boring decisions.

Cubs have Nico Hoerner coming back from injury at 2B and Matt Shaw hopefully breaking in at 3B. Rojas would actually be a really solid signing to back-up the infield, even if it isn't sexy. I'd prefer they drop some bigger money on an SP instead of a batter.

The Cubs march to their own pitching beat, and it's usually to the bottom of Stuff+ rankings.

Trade-off, Cubs have given the largest manager contract in baseball history.

Which would explain why the Cubs are always making the 4th or 5th "best" deal of each offseason or deadline and finishing around 80 wins. Moves that are solid decisions outside of any context, but not ones that will majority impact our record one way or the other.

As a Cubs fan, I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on Jed Hoyer's work. They've spent a lot more money than the O's, but the spending still seems so conservative and strictly on what their model will deem as a big value.

I'm down to just MLB TV and free media like Pluto TV at this point. Couldn't take YouTube price hikes when I only use it for sports. Thankfully, I don't live in my favorite team's blackout area.

I know how to play chess and would love to play more of it. But, I've never played it enough to be solid.

It would be sad to see Caissie go, but I'd still love this. Do you think Tucker's injury last season has any effect on his value?

I drive a Chevy Spark. Tiny car (somehow 4-door) with such little horsepower, but it sounds like it's trying to be a missile while being very fun and easy to drive in the city.
