My husband is actively practicing for Grandpahood with this pug. The spoiling is out of control. #pug

ICYMI, last week I wrote about a few signs of what's to come for space policy with this new administration, based on the first week of this second term:

I live in one of the oldest houses in my town and digging through newspaper archives for info on it has been a delight. It’s WILD what was printed in 1887!

Miles and his family lost their home in the fires. I know so many of you love them too, and are looking for ways to help. Here's a GoFundMe for people who are able to give: www.gofundme.com/f/support-th...

This is publication day for the new trade paperback compilation editions of The Murderbot Diaries! Cover art by Jaime Jones, published by @tordotcom.bsky.social, edited by @leeharris.xyz, cover design by Shreya Gupta. Note the "Coming to Apple+" sticker for All Systems Red. 👀

Just discovered my Library offers hoopla! A whole new world has opened before me!

Tomorrow’s agenda included checking out this winery until I checked their sm. Seriously. Bad grammar AND weird decorating taste? We’ll pass.

Made it to season 6 of Buffy and I forgot how exhausting the character Dawn is.

On season 6 of our Buffy the Vampire Slayer rewatch and Once More With Feeling is just as incredible as I remember! The singing and dancing and horrifying burning alive…love this show

Sea of Tranquility is a beautifully written, ethereal, mind-bending time travel mystery. Excellent narrator’s. 💙📚

I love Terry Pratchett’s books and I especially love them as audiobooks. Just finished Equal Rites and it’s such a delight. Witches, wizards, magic and a dash of hijinks. 💙📚

Well, that's the third book title out there. Nov 11 '25. Just a few more chapters left to write... www.amazon.com/gp/product/1...

Overcast now has shareable images for your listening stats! @jackob1.bsky.social here’s one for your mom

share.libbyapp.com/title/5851675 This entire series is so much fun. Snarky, witty, magical, and mysterious and the audio has an incredible narrator. My go-to when I need to get out of a reading slump. Betwixt by Darynda Jones narrated by Traci Odom 💙📚

share.libbyapp.com/title/10477446 This book is an absolute delight! Sweet, spicy, and full of magic and romance. Fingers crossed the ending is a hint for books to come 🤞 💙📚

Monthly reminder: Many people have a book in them, but it takes a special kind of freak to leave the Land of Laziness, cross the Plains of Procrastination and Insecurity Mountain, find the Blade of No One Made You Do This, and use it to cut your chest open and yank that book out.

I’m rereading the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews to follow along with the new Reading Ilona Andrews podcast and these books are so great. Truly. Loved them a decade ago, love them still. We all need a little Kate and Curran in our life.

My favorite thing to do after brewing beer is toasting the grains and making bread for homemade soup. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but it’s always worth a try.

Continuing our Buffy the Vampire Slayer rewatch and Spike has entered the chat!!! Does everyone remember their first time meeting Spike? Love him so much 🧛🏻♥️

Doing a Buffy the Vampire Slayer rewatch and I always forgot how wild this show was. The Bronze, the bands, the school library full of weapons and occult books, the lack of bras. Wild.

If you like fairy tale retellings, magic, strong female friendships and a little darkness in your stories, you’ll want to try A Sorceress Comes to Call by T. Kingfisher. Loved this one on audio and I listened through Libby. 📚💙

Hoping to live a life good enough to come back as this guy

If you’re in the mood for a chaotic, plot-driven, thrill ride of a book, try I’m Starting to Worry About This Black Box of Doom by Jason Pargin. It’s funny, insightful, and very fast paced. Loved it. I read the ebook through Libby.

If you’re looking for a delightful, and slightly gory, mystery full of high society undead ladies and pickled cabbage, this is the audiobook for you! It was a Friday Freebie at Chirp Books a few weeks ago. Really enjoyed Manners and Monsters by Tilly Wallace
