Hi! I post hilariously obscure video game trivia and have a silly little youtube channel about things I find cool in fighting games: https://www.youtube.com/@TheSeventhForce

Genuinely incredible that a Sparkster and Suikoden collection happened before they've bothered to... I dunno, throw SH1 up on PSN as a PS1 Classic or something.

It's just as good as the Genesis trilogy/Mania, highly recommend it.

I don't even have the words for how silly that summary sounds.

Sold my complete in box copies of Megaman X4 and Burning Rangers on Saturn in 2016 for around $220 combined (which was about the combined value of both at the time) to finish paying off a PS4 Pro pre-order.
They go for around $350 and $700 in that same condition today, respectively.

This actually wasn't going to go live until tomorrow, but I realized today was Valentine's Day and couldn't pass up the opportunity, lol.

I took a semester off from college to handle some family stuff right after the PS3 version released, and spent months grinding this game solo, just to see if I could.
I'd be all over a sequel or even a port of this to modern consoles, it was so much fun.

...You know, I wonder if they're still going to do that update they mentioned for this a long while back.

Also, starting with this video, I've manually transcribed the video script to English Closed Captions, and will do so for every video going forward. Hopefully this makes for a better viewing experience for the hearing impaired!
(I'll be going back and doing the same for all my older videos as well)

It's pretty safe, but I can't say I blame them in a post-Kojima departure world.
Definitely feels closer to Dead Rising DR than say, Silent Hill 2's remake, though.

Depends on however they roll out the physical release. If they do digital first and physical later, I'll probably go Steam first and get it physically in PS4/Switch later.

I'd be surprised if they removed any infinites!

As someone that used to stretch games because I disliked black bars (and to be fair, people should play how they want to) man, am I glad I started caring about proper aspect ratios.
Maybe a little too much since I dove into buying external upscalers, lol

Having Mission Mode on top a whole cup of remade tracks in addition to the new ones, plus unlockable characters, karts, emblem customization and online play made this the most absurd package in the series until the MK8 booster pass, IMO.

I didn't have any from the Sonic 3 set, but I did have the one where it's like... a TV with a Genesis on it and if you roll the TV it scrolls between art of Sonic & Tails. Might have been from a similar promotion that same year. Pretty sure I lost that years ago, though

Turtles in Time SNES having more polished combat and some really well designed new levels & bosses pushes it above the arcade version for me despite the audio/visual cutbacks.

This is exactly why I keep my ass off discord, this happened to me once while some people were helping me troubleshoot a hardware issue and it turned into a three hour train of people posting gifs nonstop
