Life's been crazy lately, but my first skirt panel for Esther Blanchett is finished and I've already traced and framed up the second panel!

First little flat colored sketch up of my idea for historical Falin. I plan to do some edits on the bodice part before I finalize the idea.

How the goldwork pendants turned out :)

Part of today's cosplay adventure was to draft up Princess' crown from Tis Time for "Torture" Princess. Got it nicely drafted up in Fusion 360 then printed out on my Creality Ender.

Sick at home today so I finished up some Witch Hat Atelier cookie cutters while I had some energy. Okay, nap time. #witchhatatelier

So tired of being sick. I want to get back to crafting and writing. 😵‍💫 I was at least lucid enough to write on my new cyberpunk character today.

I love when people assume you're done creating for a bit after a big-ish project. Nah. I'm now able to pick up the one I put down to finish that last project. I don't think people understand that to create is to live and to live is to create for me.

Happy birthday Sinocia!!! I managed to get hall photos of her back from Anime Crossroads in time for her birthday!! Photos by Docker Cap Photography

Oh hey friends. Adding the finished Sinocia wig to the new feed. 💖🦩 Probably won't add another Witch Hat Atelier cosplay into the mix until next year. 😂 Unless.... 👀

Eaten far too many things that I'm mildly allergic to lately. 😑

I didn't get many pics at Anime Crossroads yesterday, but this was really exciting!! My first skit helped me in winning Best in Show!

If you're going to Anime Crossroads this weekend, this is your invite to come to my Hand Embroidery 101 panel on Friday Afternoon! Please come and hangout, maybe learn something, or just rest your feet. Heck, bring some embroidery and vibe with us.

Quick wig try on for Sinocia and it's about 90% finished! Yay! The braids could be a tad looser but overall I am extremely happy with the results.

Real post though. I am finally done ventilating my wig for Sinocia!! I need to crimp it and style it still but no more hauling it back and forth with me to work and I can get back to working on other things during my downtime like my blog.

Wig.

Waking up with drainage and a slight ear ache is not a great way to start off show week.... Going to drink all of the hot liquids today.

I'm still not sure how to get into the cosplay algorithm on here but here's more wig progress. I'm getting super close to finished.

Changed up the belt ends for my Sinocia cosplay.. I wasn't totally happy with the results I was getting from my Worbla attempt so I went ahead and 3D printed it. Keeping the middle bar as Worbla though because it does have a wire core for strength.

Having a lazy-ish Saturday morning in bed ventilating my wig. I'm so happy to be this close to finished with the top portion.

Pretty solid cosplay progress today on Sinocia. Got the tooling on her belt done and the wig is slowly gaining hair. I'll have to cut into the other wig soon as I only have a few more tracks to pull from.

Good little book haul today.

Socks are finished! I'll probably need to make some sock garters... But we'll get there once I finish other things.

Sock making day.

Slowly but surely making progress on the ventilating on my wig for Sinocia! I'm hoping the mohair for her hairline comes in soon because I may be done with this bit mid next week if I keep the current pace.

Nearly finished with part of my stage prop for Anime Crossroads. No word yet on if I actually made it into the contest, but I'm extremely happy with the results so far and will just search for a different con to showcase it in.

Making progress on my wig about 30 minutes at a time at work. I tend to get in early to secure decent parking and quickly eat on my lunch break so I can make some progress on the ventilation.

I had a great day crafting it up. I'm currently working on a prop barrel for a cosplay skit. First time doing wood texture on Eva foam like this but I really love the results. They'll pop nicely on stage.

Real post time. Newest part of my Sinocia cosplay from Witch Hat Atelier is the wig. Lace was installed and now it's just ventilating it. The hardest part is that the wig is a 40" long wig so the hair is SUPER long. Stay tuned.

America-ya Hallo! 👋
