Crazy stupid person. I like Sonic the Hedgehog, Ys, Shin Megami Tensei and Pokemon. I'm also a daily driver Linux user, rookie Rust programmer and Sonic 3 AIR modder. GitHub: https://github.com/ShadowXeldron If it matters to you, I use masculine pronouns.

Just beat Mega Man 1 so now I'd say it's time for Mega Man 2. Unlike the first game where I save stated on the level select screen after each level so I could come back later, I've decided to do this one properly and do my passwords in a spreadsheet. I'll likely use the same sheet for the sequels.

If you insist. Name: ShadowXeldron (not my real name obviously) Pronouns: He/Him Height: Tall. Sign: Cancer / the Rust crab Tatoos/Piercing: None Colour: Depends how I feel. Flips between Red, Blue or Green. Drink: Coffee. Lots of coffee. Food: Pasta, ham and cheese Animal: Dog

Why exactly does the original Dark Souls have a feature where you can hold down X on the PS3 controller and then start waving it around to do an emote?

Am I the only one who says "thank you" to the vending machine?

Last night I was trying to come up with character titles in the style of that Persona 4 fighting game for a bunch of other characters for some reason. I henceforth demand that Sonic be referred to as the Steel-Hating Azure Cyclone in all official Sega media going forwards.

So I bought the FF1 Pixel Remaster soundtrack on Steam so I could listen to the boat theme outside of the game. It cost more than the actual game (£12.37 for the OST vs £9 for the game) and doesn't include FLAC files. That isn't good enough, Squeenix. I guess I can listen to it on my DSi at least.

The new Shinobi looks like it's going to be my thing! I like the Mega Drive games quite a bit so I'll absolutely be down for giving it a go.

I picked up Power Stone for Dreamcast today. I've heard some really good things about it so I'll definitely be plugging in my DC when I get home.

The PSP is so cool. It's a fun little handheld that was way ahead of its time with all the integrated multimedia functions. Too bad mine doesn't hold charge even after a battery replacement.

I usually add alt text to images I post on this site anyway, but I've just gone and ticked the option that requires it before posting anyway. As well as being a vital cornerstone of web accessibility, alt-text is also a component of SEO so I'm trying to get into the habit of doing it more often.

I don't know how I managed it, but for whatever reason I left the house wearing odd shoes today and will have to last until 6PM with one leg feeling longer than the other.

A fictional character and no tag, everyone can join! I think Adol from Ys is cool. No deep backstory, he just likes adventure (perhaps a bit too much) and usually ends up getting involved with halting this week's world-threatening incident. Or maybe it's because I am Ys-ily pleased.

The new Doom looks awesome! Too bad it's seventy quid. Then again, considering the rate I get through my backlog it'll probably begin seeing discounts before I've even made it to Eternal. Currently still in the early stages of 2016 unfortunately. It's great, but exhausting to sit down and play.

Okay so Zotero seems to actually recognise BlueSky. I'm obviously not going to try and cite any conversations on here as academic sources (because that would be stupid) but I just think it's funny.

So I'm replaying Pokemon White for a nuzlocke. For whatever reason, I am stuck questioning the in-universe role of the Battle Company. Do they actually sell anything? They also let people who are better at battles work on higher floors. Wouldn't that create a toxic employee culture?
