Yesterday my cat was on a real rampage. She capped her day knocking over my huge coffee mug onto my much beloved keyboard. So I wiped it up, let it drain, took it apart, cleaned every nook and cranny and mm, dried it, carefully put it back together.

Section 31 is really bad. The script is painfully bad. The new characters are desperate to be "quirkyfun!!" but they just are dull filler. The action scenes are half-assed and boring. I don't even get why this has Trek branding, honestly. Yeoh is getting paid, at least. I'm happy for that.

Well, the Best Picture race is dull as dull as dirt and again guarantees a blah winning. Because of ranked choice Anora, The Substance, and Emilia Pérez are too unlikely to win. So my guess is Conclave. Maybe Wicked or A Complete Unknown. These feel like safest #3 or #4 spot picks.

It's really hard being a huge mystery lover but completely intolerant of police and the majority of their fictional depictions. This just had episode 4 hit and so far it's a solid Holmes derivative. Nothing great but a fun time with decent enough, given short episode run times, medical mysteries.
