Had the angioplasty yesterday, they cleared a calcified nodule, cleaned out right coronary artery and added a balloon.. Sore AF today. They went through my radial artery with the catheter and if anyone tells you “it’s no big deal” they are lying. I feel like a garbage truck backed over my wrist.

Hospital, Day 6: Sleep eluded me. In the quiet earliest of hours, while the other two ladies on my ward slept, I decided to have me a big pits & bits wash, lotion my feet, clip & file my nails and put on clean clothes. Nothing like self care to the soothing tones of old lay snores and sleep farts.
