Just saw Anora this weekend and it is phenomenal. An extraordinarily powerful examination of character that’s wrapped up in comedy and slapstick and leaves you unsure what you’re watching until the very end. Best new release i’ve seen in years.

Just saw Five Easy Pieces for the first time. What an absolute masterpiece. Performances, script, narrative, cinematography. The whole works. Wow.
