Maude, who is awaiting her walk, is a very good sport about posing for photos.

See you tonight AUSTIN! 7:00 at the public library. More info here: www.bookpeople.com/event/sarah-...

View from my bus stop.😍

Sean & I spent a good long while here this evening. Sean found an Ian M. Banks book he’d been looking for, and I resisted the temptation to get the six volume set of William Hogarth’s complete works.

As Shana finishes up her experience at the Edinburgh International Harp Festival, here's a great harp tune that she recorded on our very first album in 1989 "Concierto en la llanura." Enjoy! #chaski40th chaski.bandcamp.com/track/concie... @shanahipharpy.bsky.social

Saw this today & smiled.

A few wildlife camera photos

🪉 Met up with my friend Tamsin, and had my once a year can of IRN BRU before visiting/shopping at the Harp Makers’ Exhibit Hall. (Note: I did NOT purchase a harp, although I did look longingly at a few!)

In uncertain times, dance! Dan and Adita are dancing a Peruvian marinara with Shana playing the harp at Chaski's concert at the Fitzwilliam Museum Cambridge, England, UK 23 Nov 2004 #chaski40th @flautadita60.bsky.social @shanahipharpy.bsky.social

Like swallows returning to Capistrano, Shana & Sean come back to Canny Man’s in the spring.

We played in Girvan, Ayrshire, Scotland in 2004, when the Girvan Folk Club was celebrating ITS 40th anniversary! We competed with Elvis Party Night for audience. We had a splendid time with the amazing folks of Girvan. #Chaski40th @shanahipharpy.bsky.social @flautadita60.bsky.social

Tonight’s opening concert at the Edinburgh International Harp Festival rocked! (And now I kind of want a wearable electric lever harp.)

I'm singing this and it's bloody gorgeous. Come to the concert!

The Man Who Mistook a Sharpie for a Sceptre

Love this vintage Chaski photo! I’m on a train to Edinburgh right now!

By day and night he wrongs me, every hour He flashes into one gross crime or other That sets us all at odds. I’ll not endure it.

Sorry, the alt text wouldn’t attach.🤬 I’m playing an excerpt from Deborah Henson-Conant’s Baroque Flamenco, based on a theme by Jean-Jacques Rousseau. I’ll take a class w/her in E’burgh. I’m playing my 22-string lap harp whilst wearing a pink jumper & sitting in front of a brick fireplace.

🪉 Goofing around with the tiny travel harp before tomorrow’s start of the Edinburgh International Harp Festival. The tune is likely to get played A LOT while we are there. IYKYK. (Forgive me, I can’t get the Alt Text to attach. Will explain in the thread.)

Perhaps your morning would benefit from seeing a large black dog defy gravity. (Maude does this stunt routinely, but rarely does @hollyn.bsky.social have anyone around to get the video!)

Spring has sprung in Oxford! Blossoms & tulips frame the Radcliffe Camera, as viewed from the quiet sanctuary of Exeter College's beautifully maintained garden. This put is in mind of our fav Spring poem by Gerard Manley Hopkins: www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/51002/... Pics by (IG:)LinaFromOxford

Friends, I feel seen.🪉

Maude joins Sean & me in sending greetings from Leighton Buzzard (it’s a bit northwest of London). We had a lazy day, fish & chips for supper, and are about to watch football. ⚽️ (Go, Aston Villa!)

About to board a ✈️ for London.
