Yes, times were different 30+ years ago & I was kind of raised by wolves, etc. My mom took me to see Boyz N The Hood in theaters a week before I started 4th grade. My oldest is in 4th grade now. The idea of taking him to see (this very good film!) is utterly inconceivable.

After I found that Mike Myers, head of Portland's community safety division, had been living in the Vegas 'burbs for months in 2023, his staff told me he was leaving for good. Looks like he just couldn't stay away.
