Everything makes sense once you realize that Musk needs to be the richest man in the world (ego), but really wants the whole world to drive his self-driving cars, use X for everything in our lives, run gov't by AI, put US Treasury on Crypto, and get to Mars without competition or pesky regulations.

Musk doesn’t know how anything works. No one gets benefits w/o a SSN. The “duplicates” in the database, aren’t dupes. Multiple people pay taxes using the same SSN; some are simple clerical errors by employers. You can’t just delete these entries, and SSA already has a whole system to deal with it.
