@yayroger.bsky.social So are the 2025 Mets still a high variance 89 win team where we got all of the positive variance up front? So basically the 2024 Mets in reverse which feels much less fulfilling.

@yayroger.bsky.social Two things: 1) Mitch Keller auditioning for the Mets? I've felt he was good even if full season stats say otherwise. 2) I never would have guessed that Wayne Garret topped the Mets monthly OPS list and I watched Wayne Garrett play and likely watched 120+ games in 1970.

@weatherretort.com This is one of the few days that the Heat Warning makes it all the way down to the south coast of RI. I'm curious about that small portion of CT from the state line of RI/CT toward New Haven only having a Heat Advisory.

@yayroger.bsky.social I already had a ticket for the 9/13 game against the Rangers and I am assuming that the Alumni Classic will be part of that admission? Now all I need is for deGrom to start the game for the Rangers. We went to the Old Timers Day game a few years ago and it was great fun.
