A nice compact review on exotic bees in urban environments led by @csu-ecology.bsky.social graduate student Kyle Ruszkowski! Free-access link below authors.elsevier.com/c/1kfui7tYJF...

Good news we have now passed the 100 signature mark. But we should have as many signatures as people that follow @arc-tracker.bsky.social (over 3000!) So please keep sending the link to colleagues, spread the word and encourage others to sign. Thank you.

An (unfortunate) title that says it all. Time to get nutrient inputs under control across all systems and regions. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Did you know the most powerful force for climate action is LOVE—for our children, their future, and the world they’ll inherit? That's right! Research shows this message moves hearts 12x more than jobs and 2x more than extreme weather. Source: potentialenergycoalition.org/guides-and-r...

Hi Australian Researchers. I have a plan. Let's thank the amazing @arc-tracker.bsky.social for a decade of selfless work by nominating them for a Eureka Prize (Leadership in science). Are you with me? If so, repost this. Please also reply and state your support for this quest. We can do this people.

Done. Please sign if you are Australian.

Tatsuya Amano has shown that just reading the English literature misses 35% of the science, yet this is rarely included in syntheses or global assessments. The problem is much greater in many biodiverse areas. He is determined to change this. youtu.be/ky0TAnMOlfA?...

"Nested invasions" = introduced alien species that carry alien microbiomes (which can influence their host's invasion success and impact). The concept could be expanded to include parasites and commensals. It highlights an overlooked risk of species translocation. link.springer.com/article/10.1...

Applying a nonparametric causal discovery approach to a 30-year time series containing annual abundances of benthic invertebrates across 66 locations in New Zealand rivers, we found a strong negative causal relationship between species gains and losses directly driven by predation.
