It’s Sunday, so more dads at playgrounds. Which means I avoid the playgrounds that attract the ultra “masculine” ones who; scream at their kids, wear athletic shorts in the coldest weather, and are incapable of any social engagement whatsoever

I haven’t had coffee in nearly a month. Not because I’m trying to be the all seeing and all knowing space baby at the center of the universe. Ma hernia damn blammit! So now I drink tea, sew flouncy fleece skirts for the kiddos, and eat hot soup. I just need some hard candy and I’m in grandma town.

Today we had a celebratory meal at a restaurant and my kids were blown away that we didn’t have to clean up after ourselves. We rarely go to a restaurant other than the one at Ikea. 😂
