This is the problem with genuinely powerful gestures like Senator Booker’s filibuster. He did it, he meant it, and then he votes more of these assholes in. And it’s why I find myself stuck on the idea that 90% of the current elected class needs to be booted out the door.

Recently, I rewatched Rocky Horror Picture Show, and it struck a different chord with me than it ever has.
