Nice looks like getting back to normal service đ
Maybe a bit a AFTV to brighten my morning coming upđ

Tom when are you back in Sydney?
I would love to sit down with you and chat about your workđ
Iâd love to know about our subs (quality and number) as compared to our matchday opponent from the dark days of November thru now. Not a now job, just a comment.

đyep that right. Let 6 or 8 clubs play each other 6times a year in Manchester, Newcastle, Madrid etc and the Gulf Nations.

The current EPL should disband and reform with State Based clubs excluded. This provides an opportunity to redraft competition rules collectively.
The State Based clubs can join the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus in their own competition.

My bad, in a down Spurs day. While fantastic that we are top of this table, it also sends a message that squad provided by Lilywhite House (ie the board) is too inexperienced for EPL week to week.
comment in response to

Ship this Lilywhite House. They did this, they need to own it. This is not a good KPI.

Well done Ange to scream out the situation. For too long the media for not been supportive of the situation. Media and so called pundits (forget impartiality) have been more looking for the fail, sad really that facts donât sell eyeballs, clicks or papers.

Where would Dane Scarlett fit in? Is he club trained to create another spot?

Dan, what are these comments flying about Van de Ven needing surgery?
Is it âjumping at shadowsâ by keyboard warriorsđ¤

UK bias against Aussies again. UK should just get over what they created downunder. We loving it. Sunshine, plenty of land, sensational water, surf, beaches.
Inflation falling to 2-3% range
Wages rising @ 3%+
Unemployment rate steady @ 4%
I guess thankyou Captain Cook.

Just recall Ashley Phillips and move onâŚ
comment in response to

I am pleased about this. Give him a chance.
Ah ha, Does adding Scarlett particularly if he stays beyond January that he as a HG Club trained player mean that this can lead to an additional player (eg Spence) being added to the new EL Squad listđ¤
comment in response to

Feels like a bit of torture with Chelski, that lot and now maybe Villa all looking at striker options. Given our wages policy canât see us getting someone we should be absolutely determined to lock in.
comment in response to
post
Just pay it out
Bring him back
comment in response to

Jamie Donely would help. Not only assist in our front third particularly late in games but also as for assisting in the EL Squad club trained aspect. Adding Donely as a HG CT would allow an additional player to be added to squad, eg Spence.
comment in response to

Yep I liked it. Good to see Sky not looking for a âgot yaâ moment.

We are in our Newcastle and Villa moment. Both those clubs in recent times have seen relegation. The outcome of such has been very positive change.
Both clubs have been aggressive in buying players since.
Maybe we need relegation for Lilywhite House to sell up or react as a football club.
comment in response to
post
Levy sell up we want our Football Club to return.
comment in response to
post
Levy got us in a real bind now. Throw some bricks on as Lilywhite House has bought plenty of those.
Imagine having to pull a strategy of buying more property to buying more players?
That gotta hurt, all with football money as well.
comment in response to

Nice question Dan, you were able to express in such a way that Ange was not threatened. Your approach allowed Ange to answer with frankness and determination to continue while focusing issues on Lilywhite House.

1. Scarlett - returns from loan is the striker Ange needs, club trained so will enable an extra player (eg Spence) to the EL squad.
2. Devine - returns from loan to cover MF
3. Phillips - returns from loan to cover CB
Solomon is the last day option dependent upon forwards injury status
All done â

Yes Prof this setup for your expert analysis.
comment in response to

Selling unwanted players for this club (ie DL) always wants more than buying clubs willing to pay. Thus we dance around trying to get players, then canât commit until sell unwanted, which mostly does not happen. Squad been a mess since late Poch days.
comment in response to

This line they spin post transfer period - âwe triedâ
Well Iâm tired of the âwe triedâ line.
Show leadership DL of taking responsibility for being a football club & NOT for being a property and entertainment business.
Absolutely he should not have been able to use football money for non-football
comment in response to
post
Yep he will. He needs a mirror to look at himself and not elsewhere. Hopefully it leads to less property deals and more player deals.
comment in response to
post
We tried but butâŚthey would not come, we would not pay what they wantâŚ
SO
We will finish up bringing Scarlett, Solomon, Devine and Phillips back - there you are solved. Now Ange go and get Top 4 as this club is geared up for CL, we have more real estate to buy/build.

Oh and we sent young Dorrington on loan ? EL squad a mess, maybe Whiteman can play as CB or LBđ¤

Ah well reap what you sow DL.
This goes back to Poch time.
Message might be we are a football club not a property and entertainment business.

Iâll bring back Scarlett, Solomon, Phillips and Devine.
Their Ange that is players for you as no one wants to come to us, we tried.
Says DL.
comment in response to

Just play Lankshear, let him run run run, you will find out if he can score in the big time. Ange atm needs a strong presser on Pickford for this game. Pickford history of losing the ball when pressed heavy.

Ange looks and sounds shattered. Planned Incoming not comingđ¤
Most of the core players also looking shattered.

Does that mean we can stop clickbait trawling and go old school in talking to mates in pubs about club announcement on players signedđ

Just sums up this club. Known for mths prior season more games to be played, known the HGP rules, known from last yr the Ange injury risk and Levy goes into season undermanned hoping, hoping, hopingâŚ
Bet Ange goes and is blamed, so sadđĄ

struggled through this 1 even though pretty much agreed âšď¸ A bit downbeat, even you Danny sounds like you have been worked too hard and in need of a couple of Ange directed days off.
About the 5th spot getting CL, yes agree it is on. Throw in an extra spot if EPL charge & MC take a pts deduction đ
comment in response to

Excellent Pod. Well done Dan and Tom for talking Marcus around (well maybe) to Ange in. đ Tom for going deep on Ange taking over at 8th and falling rather than Jose and Conte who had a more established squad which included H & Sonny in better form.
Over to you Levy & co get us some quality for Ange
comment in response to
post
We need a Bale. GB got Tottenham wins when a draw or loss was more likely. If only Ange had the Bale of âahhry and AVB the points table would be very different.
DL was lucky with Bale and Kane, now he has to buy more quality players instead of bricks & mortar.
comment in response to
post
đTOMM,Me same similar to Poch times..
âI have asked in the past for at least one defensively minded midfielder to fill the gap that often appears in front of our vulnerable back four and to work that double pivot that strengthens the team. Weâre not ready to match Angeâs ambitions without them.â

đsomeone who able to express how I feel

No Europe will lead to Romero, Porro and maybe Deki wanting to move on.
DL will like the money he would get to replace loss of Euro money.
Back to second class purchases with expectations rather than proven quality.
Another fine mess DL got us into. We are effectively a Euro yo-yo club đ¤
comment in response to

Better not be on Ange out. This is not on Ange. Look further up the THFC tree. We knew we were players short on quality/quantity at start of season.
Hang in there & get players back, push on for the rest of season. Ange missing that Bale or Kane goal for a win or draw. So it is what it is.
comment in response to
post
Thanks Windy. Main issue for me is that we (those in THFC who make those decisions) undermanned (quality and volume) the squad.
The outcomes we now face (eg Ange limited rotation options leading to injuries) resulting in performances which cannot maintain levels of AngeBall required.

Oil City owners will take a look at their League chances (wonât win the EPL) this yr and fall on their sword to take EPL charges incl points penalty this yr.
Opens up a Top 4/5 CL spot so THFC invest for strong close to 24/25.
