PSA: if you have an intermittent, ongoing sore throat & • it’s localized to one spot/side, usually high in the throat • does not impact swallowing • is not getting progressively worse • comes with no other respiratory/digestive symptoms you may have globus hystericus, or “anxiety sore throat”

Canadian healthcare is very far from perfect. But I just received my cervical cancer self-screening kit in the mail, and birth control costs me exactly nothing in the province of BC. It’s not perfect, but it is making some strides for women, and for that I am thankful.
