Make no mistake. Trump can't legally stay in power beyond 4 years, but will find a way to pull a 'Palpatine' by invading Canada and staying in power. Canada is at risk in a major way. If Russia and Europe go at it, Canada will be easy pickings for him. Beware.

Maybe it's time the rest of the world blocks the contact for the US.

My favorite song this Flag Day is the one about the Red White and BOOOOOOOOOO

What if we let Russia or China put some Military bases on Canadian soil.. say... 25km or so North of the US border. What do you think would happen? (I'm not saying it's a good idea.. Just fun to think about)

The people of 1930's Germany didn't stand up and stop them. Look how it went. The people of post Soviet era Russia didn't stand up and stop them. Look how it's going. The people of the USA... are.. what? Waiting for it to be too late? What do they say about not learning from history?

Image Comics is taking the opportunity to promote a comic that highlights the US invading Canada. During a time of relative peace this would have been fine, but right now, calling it bad taste doesn't even begin to describe it. (I didn't post a link to it, because i don't want to.)

Pre-dating even Wonder Woman, Canada's 'Nelvana of the Northern Lights' debuted in Triumph Comics back in 1941. The Inuit Demigoddess is one of Canada's earliest Super Heroes.

I think it's time to lift the bans, embargos, and bull$#it on Canadian firearms and their owners. Something tells me we're going to need as many as we can get...

Buy Canadian, and avoid the health risks that now come with American foods.

Hey Maple MAGA, how are you all feeling today?

The Underground Railroad was a secret network of abolitionists (people who wanted to abolish slavery). They helped African Americans escape from enslavement in the South to free Northern states or to Canada. The Underground Railroad was the largest anti-slavery freedom movement in North America

You think the boos for the stars and stripes at Canadian hockey games are something NOW, wait for the 4 Nations Face-Off on Feb 12th.

Here is the list of items Canada is slapping retaliatory tariffs on first. Seems like items we can source here, or already have. The building hardware worries me, as most homes are made using hardware from Simpson Strongtie in California. That could impact housing. Not by tons, but enough to feel.

In these days of heightened economic patriotism, lest we forget that Tim Hortons hasn't been Canadian for a decade.

This trade war might be worth it, just to keep watching Rosemary Barton give the gears to Chrystia Freeland live on the CBC.

We think it's time that the Great Lakes were renamed.
