In #rstats #quarto, when writing documents that contain footnotes, I tend to move things around a when editing, disordering the footnote sequence (see first image). I learnt that instead of re-numbering manually, I can just click on 'visual' then 'source' again and the sequence is normalised.

Hi #rstats fam. Everytime I render my #quarto website, the process renders all the qmd files even for posts I made ages ago. Ideally, I want to render only the files I edit (for example file 22 in the image below). I have the option 'freeze:auto' on every qmd file but it doesn't seem to work.

You may already know that `dplyr::bind_rows()` allows you to row-bind data frames with mismatched columns.. But did you know you can name the input dfs and use those names as a key in the resulting df? I use this (`.id = `) on a weekly basis - it makes for much cleaner code 🧼 #rstats
