Changing algorithms to house home repairs. This is an Old photo from previous home. Water entered house and discovered : 1) fix some parts of my foundation because it always starts “outside” 2) Clean out, repair old ash chute. Huge fire hazard, definitely don’t toss hot embers in old chutes.

My first found item when updated dining room built ins. This was early 2002 remodeling. Previous owners hid valuables. Found this inside floor under old drawer. hidden or fell out. Didn’t renovate entire home, but left notes for next owner “if you renovate, you might find additional treasures”

Reminiscing my old photos. My previous house built in 1940s(?). Everything inside had way too much damage so I salvaged anything i could save. Unfortunately the floor could not be saved 😖 At least i was able to fix some of the wainscoting.

Owning an home has some ups and down. Ups: renovating and discovering extra spaces for storage or discovering treasures like the house original skeleton keys that still works on original doors! 🤩 Bad: dealing “flying squirrels” running amuck in ceilings is an uphill battle.

Finally dealing with old crawlspace in my 1920 home. Previous owner (flippers) installed 2 geothermal systems. Basement unit was destroyed due to old flooding. Hired a geothermal expert & discovered this loop extending through room still works. Telling me “you got something really good here”. 😁

He's a MF monster. 😡
