"Behind the seemingly scatter-shot opening acts of his second administration, legal analysts see a common goal: to test a once-fringe legal theory which asserts that the president has unlimited power to control the actions of the four million people who make up the executive branch." --Jacob Knutson

I don't think the Dems can stop the firings. But why aren't they proposing legislation that assures those that took the buyout get paid , and that all that are fired, get at least a year severance and health benefits? And any one with a health condition is covered the entire time they are sick?

A sense of humor about southern snow!

I'm afraid that many nonprofit libraries and museums will have the same finality as the JFK Library. These are sources of information that we all need but our federal government Administration seems to think that learning is not something we need to do. This is not democracy.

I am in gratitude for hearts Across America which is a program for schools to help promote the school receiving cards from all over the country. I am sending my card to a school in St Clairsville Ohio today.

I am in gratitude for being alive one more day, for taking this day for myself and turning my phone off to be with myself and my creator, and to just be

I am in gratitude for waking up today and being a part of the Earth, my amaryllis that has one more bud and for the people who have prepared the food which I eat.

I am a gratitude for exercise and being able to put my toes on the ground each day. I am in gratitude for using non-medical forms to keep my osteoarthritis in balance. I am in gratitude for the wonderful spam calls that I received yesterday totaling 20 and not answering my phone. Just a small thing

2. Help Democrats The success of any opposition rests on the opposing party taking power. Next time you want to attack a Democrat for being too much of this or too little of that, realize that you are only helping the GOP. Instead, find a Democrat you support and volunteer for their campaign.

Let us not be fearful. Let us Trust a higher power or God or whatever we call a higher power to bring peace and calm to our lives and our land. Maybe we continue to build peace in our self and our community.

@rbhubbell.bsky.social says it’s time for the Dem MOC to implement a Shadow Cabinet. @timothysnyder.bsky.social has been sounding the alarm to do this. Robert’s suggestions who should be on it are in his article. We can add to it. @repjasmine.bsky.social comes to mind. Let’s do this! 202-224-3121.
