Let’s go I didn’t miss it this year Happy 102nd birthday, you beautiful steamer you

Quite the odd double header: Union Pacific P-8 Class 4-6-2 #2862 and a UP-5 4-12-2 #9087 hauling a short freight train of 17 cars in 1935, picture originally taken by Otto Perry #trains #30s #freight #steam

Went down another train rabbit hole and found my favorite cursed train: the D&H E-7 class. Expreimental high-pressure steamers that overall, were failures. I want to highlight No. 1403 specifically, for its 4-cylinder setup and really weird rod design. Also the rear tender bogie has rods lol

Found a better way to display my lostwave physical media. Key is in the alt text. Lostwave means all of these records contain a certain song (and the overall tracklist) that was completely unknown at one point; lost to time. Very proud of all of them

I’ve got a new all-time favorite railroad now. I’ve been bitten by the B&O bug and it’s not letting go As far as my lego fleet goes, expect to see a good amount of B&O representation (not necessarily the exact pics I chose, but we’ll see :))

Just now, one of my good friends graciously provided me technical drawings of my favorite non-4449 steam locomotive, the NZR’s 1877 K Class. Will definitely make a model of the preserved ‘Washington’ loco eventually.

My thoughts on favouritism…

Seems we have a birthday today! Happy 80th to 5901!

Found a really interesting unbuilt prototype. If built it would’ve likely been the only 4-10-4 locomotive ever made, and was planned for the Monon Railroad. The first pic gives all the context for it, and the second one is an edit (not mine btw) of what it probably would have looked like

COBI OUT HERE, COMIN IN CLUTCH AND MAKIN UP WHERE LEGO IS LACKIN. GOD BLESS COBI

Greatest birthday gift I’ve ever gotten

Obscure album recommendation 1: youtube.com/playlist?lis... I dont know how I found this but I’m glad I did. If anyone’s into hard AOR rock I implore you to check this out

Deleted my Twitter account. I’m staying here for good :)

Stop trying to make logical sense out of the Cars movies. It's just a fun story for kids. So anyway… does Thomas the train eat the coal?

I decided to do it here instead of twithouse I’m 18 as of today 🎉

1118 is finally done. 6 months of work that at lots of times took a heavy toll on me, finally paid off. The model is a freelance design based on large, oil-burning Mikados from lots of different roads. I’m so, so proud of this thing, and I can’t wait to have it in physical form eventually

Decided to change my pfp to a new render I made of 1118. She’s not done yet; still have to finish the tender and then render her from all angles. But she’s coming along wonderfully

BlueSky dev team I’m begging you to add drafts Y’all are doing a great job but please 🙏

Starting on 1118’s tender at long last. Aiming for a Vanderbilt one this time around Date I say at the rate I’m going I might finish the model before January ends

Paid a vist to my favorite locomotives again :) No. 1’s finally in the shops, and they’re making progress on 197 as well

Dark red roof on 1118 >>>>>> (still haven’t picked up the motivation to do the tender but I’ll get it done someday)

Rest in peace, Britt Allcroft I think a part of my soul died tonight Thanks for everything, Britt

Thank You, Britt Allcroft ❤️🚂 For being a big part of our childhood, we wouldn't be where we are today Thank you for bringing the little blue tank engine's stories to life, thank you 🥹🙏 #Thomasandfriends

Merry Christmas, all 🎄

They're too much

I finally got my favorite 80s album on CD (bonus photos as well)

Took a crack at rolling stock this time around and made a rake of 1:48 scale JGR-era coaches for my 5540 model to pull. Designing them and getting them to look right was a huge pain, but man, the end result was so worth it

From the bottom of my heart, thank you again for 100 followers ❤️ More fun stuff coming soon :)
