Hello @bsky.app! Episode 30 with the amazing Mikey Please (heading to this platform imminently!) is now available! Listen at all your favourite podcasts places including these two; open.spotify.com/show/3MndBEr... podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/s...

Two b&w illustrations for a student project about Mr.Dog (far from being as good and fun as the original/ but I still like my version) whilst being a mentee at Pop Up Projects Pathways last year. I learnt a lot! #ukkidlit #kidlitillustration #illustratot #mgillustration #blanckandwhiteillustration

Hey illustrators! Did you know there's a contact form on my website just for you? When beginning new projects I routinely check the spreadsheet for new submissions and search/sort my notes on previous submissions. >>> www.brianlarossa.com 💙❤️ #kidlit #kidlitart #illustrator #artsearch #art #artist

Hi Bluesky! I'm Stella and I'm a kidlit illustrator. These are some of my recent works and you can check out more here! stellahong.com

Oops, forgot to tag #kidlitUK and #kidlitart !!

For the last 5 years I did daily posts of favourite kids/YA books published that year for Black History Month UK over on twitter, but this year I just put them all into one big blog post (in which there is a link to the twitter threads, if of interest): teenlibrarian.co.uk/2023/10/03/b...

Hello hello! Here are some glorious October books for children and teenagers, featuring dogs, Death, pink-cheeked vampires, hummingbird drones, family secrets and coming to terms with painful change. The quality of writing for kids is SO HIGH at present - winnowing the post is almost impossible!

I’m now a proud member of @childrensbooksnorth , which promotes and supports the authors, authors-illustrators and illustrators of the North of England and Scotland! Check out their directory: childrensbooksnorth.blogspot.com/2023/08/look...

All Patrick wants for his birthday is a perfect FOOD party. But why did Karter arrive dressed as a FOOT? Patrick learns a valuable lesson in patience, embracing chaos, and most of all that family isn't perfect. Patrick and the Not-so-Perfect party is available to preorder at your usual book retailer

Even though my heart has always been in illustration, I was convinced that it wouldn’t be financially sustainable for me to choose it as a career, so I studied architecture and urban design instead…and from there, supported by amazing colleagues and friends, I found a way to make use of my passion!

It's publication day for The Boy who Brought the Snow - written by Hollie Hughes, illustrated by me and published by the wonderful team at Bloomsbury! woohoo :) As someone said, let it snow!

Sneak peak of Patrick and the Perfect Party cover! Such a fun book to illustrate thanks to Anne Wynter’s text and the great art direction of the team at Little Bee Books!

Hi everyone! Super happy to be here - thanks @brianlarossa.com for the invite! - I’m looking forward to get to know more #kidlit people, fellow #illustrators and I’m open to commissions - see my website www.shirleyhottier.com
