I think some people misunderstand my feelings about stax and MLD in Commander. It's not that you can't build decks to beat those things, it's more that building decks to beat those things requires removing a lot of flavorful and fun cards, and Commander is a format I play for fun.

Unbanning Braids is bizarre to me. It is decided unfun to play against in a format that’s primary purpose is social fun. And a Braids player is going to have to fight through opponents throwing every removal spell at it, or the always trusty player removal. How many are really nostalgic for this?
