Someday I would like to own a Vestaboard. It's highly unlikely, but I think it would be nice.

I dreamt a god that dreamt of me

Book haul from independent bookstore day

Happy #IndieBookstoreDay everyone!!!

Is this a ritual

I need to finish a peer reviewable draft of my rpg. I must! It's been sitting untouched for too long!!

Man, this is a pretty fucking gross move from Amazon, huh? Good on @bookshop.org for not mincing words, though:

Every time I hear it, Winter Solstice from the EP, gets a little closer to being my favorite mewithoutYou song.

avogadro's number is way too big. there should NOT be that much stuff in stuff

On the official Trump Store (link below), there is a hat for sale that says Trump 2028. Already insane, right? Here's the kicker: there is a shirt version as well that also includes the text "(rewrite the rules)". You've got to be fucking kidding me www.trumpstore.com

This good. wearesnooze.bandcamp.com/album/i-know...

For my next trick, I will be fading into dust, and then reconstructing myself into a new form from the dust

Just saw a font so good, I mumbled "fuck"

I feel seen lol

Am I the only one that first thought the 256 color mode was a hidden "retro mode" in Windows XP, just because of how most of the system icons reverted back to the Windows 2000 era design?

Been playing Withering Rooms and shit is it scratching itches. The atmosphere is perfect and the mechanics are rich without getting in the way. Haven't finished it yet, but it feels like I could come back to this game several times and enjoy it just as much

can't keep my head from collapsing in on itself

"Come unfastening android limbs in the moonlight through translucent skin Now we've both been there and back again To the state that I'm no longer in With carbon fiber lips whereby came thought reflex personified Now a scorpion in the sky, harmless as a butterfly (You can pin and mount me likewise)"

Well guess I have to get a Nintendo Switch 2 now just for Duskbloods

Mumbling "more like fartist" at every painting in the museum

Well didn't get into the SMART scholarship program. It is really bittersweet, because the funding would have been great, but also I applied last year before the election and now I don't want to be tied to the current administrations DoD. I'm now looking into standard ways to cover tuition.

I'm entering my metalcore phase. What are the good metalcore bands that aren't problematic?

Fun fact: April fools used to be celebrated in March

Trump said he may run for a third term. I’m not joking. I know this because he said he is “NOT joking.” Can someone explain to me how this isn’t a violation of the oath he took to the Constitution? I’m waiting.

Gonna start calling the regularly library the Huge Free Library.

This means I now have negative 4 security clearances

you shut the fuck up

the world of the early 21st century was characterized by an intense fixation on "computers", devices which had some useful applications in mathematics and industry but existed primarily as amusing novelties. so obsessed were societies as to prioritize their production over housing and healthcare,

There's something very enticing to me about Philosophy, yet also something disgusting

You can’t even text your friends and one stranger about war anymore because of woke

Five writers who made me Lydia Davis Donna Tartt Mark Z. Danielewski Chuck Palahniuk Gaston Bachelard

Just learned about (and promptly purchased) this book by Lydia Davis. It is only available at independent bookstores, libraries, and bookshop.org (which published the book) expressly to resist Amazon's dominance in bookselling. I knew Lydia Davis was cool, but I didn't know she was this cool.

I can tell you exactly when I lost trust in the system. It was 2008. I had just bought my first USB flash drive (or thumb drive as they said back then). I inserted it, moved the files, then excitedly held my breath as I clicked "Eject USB Drive." Nothing happened.

I bought a Tesla because it was fast like a rocket ship. But now every time I drive it, I feel like a rolling billboard for a man dismantling our government and hurting people. So Tesla, you’re fired! New ride coming soon.
