💥 Our research shows deep alignment with the EU on goods and services could offset the impact of Trump's tariffs on the UK economy. Listen to @pimlicat.bsky.social explain more on @lbc.co.uk 👇 www.bestforbritain.org/naomi_smith_...

As a vet, I stand in solidarity with the penguins of Heard Island. My team has reached out to the ambassador and I can confirm we are negotiating a new krill export deal to compensate for the economic impact they're facing from these tariffs. Noot Noot✊ www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

UK should offer asylum

I hope Keir Starmer takes notice

Tesco are making £4bn a year in profit. About 50% of their staff are on Universal Credit. Why don't we crackdown on this unneeded benefit for billionaires?

Thousands of people are ditching Tesla. Here’s one of them with a message you can see from space. Location: Black Rock Sands, Wales, UK Led By Donkeys is 100% funded by small donations.

And here is the original story now mysteriously disappearing from US media sites (The Byline Times is in the UK) bylinetimes.com/2025/02/21/d...

Election mandate? From whom? Don't recall the Ukranians having a vote in the US presidential election. Or the Europeans for that matter. Rubbish in, rubbish out

Why is the Donald Trump obsessed with Europe spending 5% of their GDP on the military? Because the USA produce nearly 90% of NATO weapons and they make nearly 95% profit on them. So that is why. If Europe produced their own he wouldn't care.

@bbc-politics.bsky.social tory mims Davies is a foghorn. Impossible to listen let alone debate

I used to think that Andrew Marr was a decent journalist. No longer. His "interview" of Richard Tice on LBC tonight was shockingly poor allowing Tice to spout all the usual rubbish without any attempt to correct him - e.g. benefit claimants actually being in work. Very poor. Very disappointing.

The UK needs to lead in Europe again. We can't rely on Trump, and Labour hasn't shown the urgency or ambition to fix our relationship with our closest neighbours. A UK-EU customs union is the first step repairing that relationship. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-cost-starme…

I wonder what the people of Fareham and Borden think of their MP trotting the globe delivering this stuff?

Why is the government happy to cosy up to China, but won't even look at a better customs deal with our closest neighbours in Europe? Ministers say they’re looking everywhere for growth but are ignoring what is staring them in the face.

Sieg Heil? No thanks. Let’s all join European Movement and build the resistance to this.

Yes, but what if it is a short series in the popular genre which exposes kneejerk anti-immigration people to the actual reasons why people try to migrate and helps to change their minds or, at least, increase their understanding?
