If Arsenal want to compete, we should not be getting any players on loan anymore. I don't believe any major club in England or Spain or Germany are loaning players. Either buy the required players or promote someone from within who can be given time to improve. T

Ultimately the thing that matters most for us at the moment is defensive solidity. We have no injuries and loads of depth there and we don’t have enough firepower to score much more than one goal. To give West Ham such an easy goal was criminal.

We need to buy players , agreed but Arteta also needs a relook at some of his tactics. The slow paced start, the lack of sufficient rotation, overplaying players till the time they break down...

Reckon Arteta definitely needs to come up with a better response to losing players than to suck even more energy, pace and intensity out of games. It just doesn't suit us and is regularly costing us. Also happened too often to be just a coincidence.

It's not bad luck when you're a pressing team and all three of the first choice forward line go down with hamstring injuries. Especially when he doesn't have much trust in their alternatives. Even more so when one of those alternatives has had two knee surgeries since 2022, then gets an ACL.

If we are really arsed about next season’s summer window, we’ll start announcing signings in the next couple of months instead of wasting time and haggling till the middle of July and August.
