Donald Trump's open defiance of a lawful Supreme Court order is an impeachable offense. The House of Representatives should initiate impeachment proceedings against the President. The future of our nation depends on it.

I've seen enough. Donald Trump is not abiding by a lawful Supreme Court ruling. As a member of Congress, I fully support impeaching him. NOW.

Elon Musk and Donald Trump are gutting Social Security as we speak. The danger to benefits for millions has never been so great. Keep sounding the alarms. Keep fighting back. We cannot let it happen.

Yesterday, I voted NO on the SAVE Act and voted NO on the Republican budget plan that will gut Medicaid and food assistance in our nation. We must protect our people and their rights.

I'm voting HELL NO on the Republican budget bill that will slash your Medicaid and food assistance benefits.

Tariffs are bad for everyone. I'm ready to vote on a bill to make sure Donald Trump's tariffs power is severely limited. We cannot let this go unchecked any longer.

Tanking the stock market is not good economic policy. Democrats in Congress are ready to hold Trump accountable for harming everyday Americans.

Donald Trump's economic policy is reckless: plain and simple. We need to lower costs on American families. Right now, he is doing the opposite. House Democrats will work to hold him accountable.

Donald Trump is actively making it more expensive to live in America. The market is falling, costs are rising, and our economy is in turmoil. It did not have to be this way.

Tariffs are terrible for autoworkers. It’s that simple.

Donald Trump's tariffs are bullshit. I'm fighting back in Congress. We won't let him get away with it.

Today may be April Fools Day, but there is nothing funny happening in our nation right now. We need to protect Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. We need to protect our people.

There’s no way in hell I would ever vote to cut Medicaid, Medicare, or Social Security—I will always protect your benefits. Full stop.

We need a Congressional investigation into the Signal group chat, and we need it now. The American people deserve answers.

There’s no way in hell I'm defunding PBS or NPR.

Tariffs are not good for anyone—not good for Michigan and not good for America. It’s that simple. www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcn...

This is even more serious than we could have imagined. We need a Congressional investigation into how this could have happened immediately.

We need an immediate Congressional investigation into how a reporter was put into a highly confidential signal chain with top Trump officials. This shouldn’t be partisan.

Donald Trump should focus less on his portrait in Colorado and more on lowering costs for the American people. We need more leadership and less midnight rants.

Today is the 15 year anniversary of the Affordable Care Act. 15 years later, I am fighting alongside my Democratic colleagues in Congress to protect healthcare access. We cannot allow Republicans to take away our healthcare.

Many of my constituents rely on their Social Security checks to get by. Any disruption to Social Security will harm millions across our nation and many in Michigan. This rhetoric is just plain wrong.

The Trump Administration is now playing with the Social Security benefits of millions, including many Michigan seniors. This is not government efficiency. This is government making life worse for our people.

Donald Trump's decision to dismantle the Department of Education will only cause more chaos for the American people. This chaos is why Trump's approval rating is plummeting. It's only going to continue with today's decision.

As a member of Congress, I will never let Republicans cut a penny from your Medicaid, Medicare, or Social Security. That’s my commitment—today and every day.

Donald Trump cannot unilaterally undo President Biden’s pardons. This rhetoric must be condemned uniformly. It’s dangerous and cannot be allowed to continue.

My commitment to you is simple: I will fight tooth and nail to make sure Republicans cannot take away your benefits. Whether Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid, we will fight back.

I voted NO on the Republican continuing resolution because it’s a bad bill—it’s that simple. Senate Democrats should do the same today. Vote NO!

I voted against the continuing resolution in the House. Senators should do the same. This is a bad bill that harms American consumers.

I voted NO on the Republican budget bill this week. Senate Democrats should do the same. It’s a bad bill, cuts critical programs, and harms Americans.

Tariffs are actively harming Michiganders and Donald Trump is only making it worse with each passing day. It’s long past time we reverse these tariffs and get our economy back on track.

If there’s one thing that has become very clear in the past week it’s that tariffs are bad for business and bad for the American people. Trump must reverse them and end this charade.

Elon Musk: hands off our Social Security!

Donald Trump's tariffs are hurting Michiganders. It's not America First to make our people pay more for basic necessities. Trump's second term has already been an abject failure.

Donald Trump has dragged Michiganders into a trade war that will only hurt our people and our businesses. This is not “America First.” Tariffs are bad for business.

Donald Trump is gearing up to impose tariffs tomorrow. These tariffs will have a devastating impact on Michigan families. You can’t claim to be “America First” yet abandon Americans every chance you get.

Instead of bailing out billionaires by cutting essential government programs, how about we focus on lowering the cost of groceries for everyday Americans? www.reuters.com/en/us-senate...

My commitment to you is ironclad—I will never vote to cut a penny from your Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid.

Instead of cutting Medicaid, House Republicans should work with us to lower the cost of eggs and other groceries in America.

Last night, House Republicans pushed forward with a budget plan that will cut billions in Medicaid funding for Americans. The fight is not over—we will continue to push back against this draconian effort.

Democrats are suing the hell out of the Trump Administration, and Democrats are winning. We are holding Trump accountable.

Elon Musk's decision to create chaos within the federal government overnight because of his 5-bullet point email is exactly why he has no business being near our government. Our federal workers deserve better. Know that we stand with you.

This type of interaction exemplifies the danger of Donald Trump. Take a minute and imagine if a Democratic President did this. We will continue to hold Trump accountable.

House Democrats will not allow Republicans to cut your Medicaid benefits. We are fighting back.

Donald Trump has now backed the GOP House bill that would deliver $4.5 trillion in tax cuts for the rich, while raising the debt ceiling by $4 trillion and cutting $2 trillion from America’s middle class. I’m ready to fight to make sure this bill never passes.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk are laying the ground work for cuts to Medicaid, Social Security, and other government programs. House Democrats are going to fight back and stop them. We will not let it happen.

The Trump Administration is actively pushing out career government officials. This latest resignation, from the acting head of the Social Security Administration underscores the danger of this Administration’s actions. The data should not be in DOGE’s hands.

I don’t think an unelected billionaire like Elon Musk should have access to your personal data—we need to prevent DOGE from getting into the IRS. abcnews.go.com/Politics/elo...

House Democrats will never let Republicans cut a penny from Medicaid. I promise to fight any such effort tooth and nail to block it. We must protect our people.

These employees safeguard our nation's nuclear weapons arsenal. They should never have been fired. This is extremely concerning. amp.cnn.com/cnn/2025/02/...

Today, we remember the innocent lives lost at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. We must never forget their memories, and honor their memories with action to end the gun violence epidemic in our nation.
