The Mets are now tied for the league lead (38) in grounding into double plays and are 6th worst in baseball (.226) at hitting with runners in scoring position. I hate that as soon as a runner gets on any base I lose confidence in anyone besides Alonso and Lindor getting a hit.

Alonso has been on such an insane heater this year, it's been incredible to watch every day. Pitchers want absolutely no part of him when there are runners on, he's walking 28% of the time w/ RISP and he's still 3rd in the league in RBI.
