Two weeks in a row with increasing cases, increasing positivity %, LP 8.1 growing in prevalence. When do we call this a new wave?

Concerning that it seems we are now going into a new wave and hospitalisations are 156 now compared to 50 at the start of last wave. That's a much higher base to start from.

I would never rely on them, which is why I don't want to unmask indoors, even with nasal sprays/holding breath.

They do have this, this is what I've been directed to. But I've also been told that it can be denied by VicRoads. Because of my LC, I hope it works. But what of people that are trying not to get sick at all, are they not allowed to?

And importantly a significantly lower level of community transmission.

I'd love to know if anywhere in the world does it in a safe and accessible way.

I've had a process shared with me, that allows you to take photo at home, so will give it a go.

I will have a look. It might be the same solution I have just been offered. I need to get a doctor to sign off that I can't attend, then VicRoads will review this (could take weeks). Then I can submit a photo without going in.

Yes, so far they have not been helpful and won't put me directly through to a service centre to discuss in advance. They told me to go in and work it out when I'm there and bring own masks to give to staff etc. I do use nasal spray.

I hope to do better, because making people remove their mask indoors in not a good enough system.

They have told me I have to update mine, unfortunately.

It's sad it's come to this.

Why do they refuse to believe it could be related? Have they articulated their reasoning?
