Akron and Groce have done a great job building a staying culture there. Obviously not happy as a BG fan, but happy for a mid-major MAC school to be clearly building something with staying power

Richie Saunders is an under the radar legend at BYU. Dude is a woodworker, speaks four(!) languages and, yes, is the great-grandson of the inventor of the tater tot

Alright, one last time. My (original) point is that the NCAA is an institution of member schools that make their own rules. They launched the tournament to control their postseason and make money. If they don't like it, then the schools control the NCAA. Not the other way around.

My guy, my screenshot from the NCAA website says it was formed to regulate rules and provide player safety. You're arguing for regulation as you've posted the same screenshot four times. I was pointing to player safety. We're both right. Let's move on.

How about we chalk it up to we're both right and not keep going in circles?

I agree with you on that point, my friend. The NCAA and its member schools need to take a look at what governance means today instead of when the charter was written. A lot has changed between now and Teddy Roosevelt that's unaccounted for. If that means a new governance body, fine by me.

Yes, the NCAA - a governance organization - made rules about who can play. Especially back when sports were tied to academics and student truly came first in student-athlete. But that doesn't mean that the NCAA's main job isn't player safety. That's why the organization was created.

I feel like that irony is going to get lost on a lot of people. The NCAA is inherently political. It got its start in the Teddy Roosevelt administration after a bunch of FB players died in-game. It's only job is player safety. If schools have a better way, why not try it? Until then, it's the NCAA

True, but I think we're missing out on trying to typecast Rodger

That's crazy! I kept expecting him to use his legs more with Ohio State, but obviously he didn't need to. Surely going to be an interesting mid-round guy this April.

Great read Colin! This is a super unique partnership between Davidson and Curry. I'm really interested to see where this takes the program going forward

There's always when they make the big dance, Rodger

It's somehow not as bad when you watch it for a while?
