I’ve been away from social apps like this for so long that it took me a while to come to the awkward realization that Bsky is not a replacement for all the other apps. Where does one even go to find communities or build them these days? I don’t want to go back to instagram but I feel unmoored.

Today I did a little volunteer activity at my daughter’s school mounting artworks for a future art show. I got through the first grade classes and was all weepy in the end. Kids are SO creative and uninhibited by art “rules”. They have no fear of messing up or other’s perception or criticism.
