The most maddening thing is that it would be perfectly fine to write "9News reporter shot by police" because it is it accurate, true and backed up by the video footage. Even if the cops want to claim it was accidental, to word "shoot" says nothing about intent. We're using passive voice to lie.

This is a really important point, I think. People who've kind of sauntered through life never having faced a consequence for shit work or lazy, broken output seem to overlap 100% with the people who see generative text / image tools as the most "useful". They have no connection w/ failure.
