For those of us boycotting nestle. Be sure to include Starbucks. They have a strong partnership. That is when I quit supporting Starbucks and now find local coffee when I travel. Starbucks was local a long time ago. Too big for me now.

Zelensky is only half-right. The American people are still committed to our alliance with Europe, and specifically Ukraine. The US -- like Europe -- is under attack from Russia and has been partially captured by Russian collaborators. But we will defeat them.

Join The Economic Blackout - On Friday, February 28th, we go dark. For 24 hours, we stop feeding the machine. No spending. No unnecessary purchases. No engagement with major corporations. For more info join the Peoples Union: jointhepeoplesunion.com

DOJ correction notice this p.m. in the case re: USAID personnel moves/funding freeze: that as of Friday's hearing, 2000+ employees had been placed on leave, not 500, and that payments on current contracts had been frozen, not just future ones; lawyers say they got incorrect info

The American Bar Association has just called upon every attorney, regardless of their political views, to join them & stand up for the rule of law & at minimum insist that our government "follow the law." Every lawyer has an ethical responsibility to do so. www.americanbar.org/news/abanews...

Of course The MAGAt who demanded an end to proxy voting in the House, slipped his voting card to someone and had them break the rules and proxy vote for him while he was filming a TV show in LA Byron Donalds has a history of lawless behavior. Google it!

Yes, this is exactly the question that we all need to be asking right now. One of the IGs that Trump fired was the one at the Defense Department, and he was examining Musk's breach of national security reporting protocol for Pentagon contractors. Now Dems tell me they fear this probe is dead:

LISTEN. (A little thread of usefulness). If I were an organizer, I would start with people in red states and districts doing in-person visits to their Republican Senators and Reps, demanding to know why they are doing nothing about about a massive hack of their personal data. 1/

USAID was investigating Elon’s Starlink and its equipment. His whole mission was to put a stop to the investigation. Musk said, “USAID must die.” #ProudBlue #Boices4Victory apple.news/A2KE1Li4jSoS...

In a shocking twist that surprises no one, we learn that Ivanka got $50 million from USAID. Between Musk's Pentagon contracts and Ivanka's USAID money, there really is wasteful government spending. #ProudBlue #TrumpisaNationalDisgrace #TrumpIsUnfitForOffice #TrumpCrimeFamily

Another reason to ❤️ Costco. While Target and others cancel diversity to appease Trump, Costco’s investing in the community—building apartments above its stores, starting in LA. This $425M project includes 184 low-income units, with key services, plus a rooftop pool and fitness center.

FYI:

Each time I have sat down to write something since the election, I am bothered by this recurring phrase that I simply cannot get out of my head. So, I am going to just say it out loud: we are on our own. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/we-a...

Live in one hour, @glennkirschner.bsky.social joins me for his first public comments since the election on Trump's disqualification under Section 3. Points of light in the darkness, patriotic judges, correcting misinfo, and calls to action before Jan 6. Only on Lights On! youtube.com/live/eN67FF-...

Oh look, Trump lied. And voters fell for it.

Jessica Tarlov tells the Fox audience about the good economic news under Biden they probably haven’t heard about much 👇🏽 (Which Trump will inevitably take credit for)

So Trump is going to allow foreign companies to bypass regulations giving them a competitive advantage if they invest a billion dollars in starting a business in US, but a smaller American business or startup trying to compete with that foreign business has to comply with them?

“Leaked documents show the extent of collaboration between the pro-Israel legal advocacy group UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI) and the Israeli Government, in their attempt to “counter” the work of human rights organisations”

Was glad to sit with my friend @theanthonydavis.bsky.social for a long, expansive chat about the 2024 Election, the crisis we’re facing, and what has to be done if we’re to realize a better future. Airs at 8pm eastern tonight and will be available afterward.

The failures of the Democratic Party are many, but the incestuous relationship between its strategists and corporate donors has played a huge role in moving the party to the Right and alienating the electorate. Things need to change in a big, big way. jaredyatessexton.substack.com/p/giving-the...
