Tickets acquired, no fornication required.

In a queue to get tickets for Hammaby’s European adventures today, but, um, google translate seems to have a different idea about what happens in a queue.

As someone who genuinely loved the uneven but uniquely creative original, I am not sure what to think about Death Stranding 2 getting great reviews before release. So looking forward to getting to play it this weekend. The original is one of my favorite games of the last decade.

After a few weeks in the hot humid parts of the US, I’ll happily take a little Swedish summer rain to chill out to.

Messed around a little with ReMatch this evening. Feels more like an arcade football version of Rocket League than any kind of competition for EA. Had some fun, but not sure it'll scratch that itch I'd hoped.

Back home and reunited with our puppers. 🐶

Last day of the trip was a whistle-stop visit to Atlanta. Managed to do some trading card hunting and grabbed some lunch at the Ponce City Market before heading to the airport.

Spending the morning at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City. A huge set of galleries showcasing both ancient and modern art.

Been a while since we had proper Kansas City Barbecue. Probably a good thing for my diet that I don’t live here!

Better late than never, but finally got to see the Thunderbolts tonight. Enjoyed it. I don’t know if it was just an anchoring effect of them using it in one of the trailers but I constantly felt that soundtrack was trying to break into The Pixies ‘Where is my mind’

Sometimes America very much lives up to the ‘supersize it’ stereotype. This sporting goods store has an entire Ferris wheel *inside*

Went with my wife to a 101st birthday celebration for her great aunt. Makes me wonder if that’s the span of a human lifetime that has lived through the most change in the world around them. I feel old already and I’m not even quite halfway to 101.

Easily this one. Old enough that I can’t remember the last time I met anyone who has played it. Eye of the Beholder is the dungeon crawler everyone remembers from that era.

Sunday at the ballpark. First time getting to visit Kauffman Stadium after years of watching the Royals whenever they played in California. ⚾️🧢

Bonus sunset prettiness in the closing stages.

Visiting the Kansas City Current for their NWSL game tonight. Cool stadium right by the river. Good crowd too!

Early morning airport time again. Second leg of vacation - off to Kansas City to visit with my wife’s friends and family. (and sports and bbq along the way🍗⚾️)

Had a lovely early morning walk along Laguna Beach, and checked out the aquatic critters in the tide pools.

Spent the afternoon scaring the life out my wallet at the Frank and Sons Collectible show. Thankfully, escaped just $150 poorer so I’ll consider that a win. So much cool stuff though. Probably good I don’t have too much room in the luggage!

I’m not a huge Disneyland adherent, but I always have to admit that Galaxies Edge is so, so, well done. Had a fun day.

Can you believe they let me fly this thing? Hanging out in a galaxy far, far, away today.

Got to get my fill of the foodstuffs you can’t quite get in Sweden while we’re back again. Good Mexican is definitely one of them. (Even if it is largely wasted on my tepid taste palette, I can’t take the hot stuff, but I’m more adventurous than I used to be)

Fish Tacos 🌮 for lunch and some tempura peppers that will probably be too hot for me but my wife will appreciate!

Jet lag has my body confused, but somehow that translated into loaded mac’n’cheese for whatever meal it thinks this is right now.

On the road again. Already tired with an early start and it’s still like another stop and sixteen hours before we get to LA.

It's very cool to see our little, cozy, horse, mystery, game featured alongside some other awesome games as part of @ign.com's IGN Live event this weekend. There will be new trailer footage and previews coming soon, so we hope folks are intrigued enough to come check the game out! #indiegames

Last work day wrapping up before a couple of weeks vacation. Glad to have an extra day to do all the actual 'ah crap we have to do X before we go.' stuff thanks to a public holiday here tomorrow! And pack and all that, although I'm still in the 'throw stuff in at last minute' packing camp :p
