My oldest grandparent (not great-grandparent, regular one) was born in the 1800s, so I'm not too generationally distant from when people were suffering from childhood diseases. And they were grateful for their modern prevention. That generational connection was lost, and here we are.

Took the new ioniq up to the ski mountain this morning. Left at 60% charge. 15F. Stopped once for dunks and plugged in, 40% to 65% in 15min. Made it comfortably at 20% and got a charger at the ski in / ski out lot. Added maybe 5min vs gas car with the stop. These things work great even in the cold!
