This was a fun little build! I made a satellite reaction wheel using liquid metal and the magnetohydrodynamic effect. No moving parts other than the liquid metal, which has some unique benefits for space applications. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiRM...

Hello @bsky.app, here's to looking into more #bluesky and beyond... 😉

Anyone hiring for hardware/IoT DevRel? This last year has been demoralizing. My entire team got axed at EMQ last December and then in April my entire team at Thunkable was laid off ONE MONTH IN Tech industry is suffering and marketing/developer relations is always first to go. Short sighted imo

Open sourced my Light Color (GBC in a GB Light shell) PCB! (without the cool Tahk0 art sorry). Merry Christmas github.com/nataliethene...

Running some test animations on the latest lander sculpture. I had to time box myself this weekend to work on the console design, otherwise I can spend countless hours tweaking and redesigning it 😅 #circuitsculpture

New sculpture in the making! Using @adafruit.com 170x320 TFT display and pairing it with a Particle Photon 2

My rechargeable Fibonacci earrings with supercapacitors remain one of my biggest accomplishments. It's a project that truly combined my love for math, technology, and design. Fully charged in a couple of minutes and run times up to 20 hours from a single charge.

How annoying isn’t it to make significant progress on a project or proof-of-concept that is not yet ready to share online? 🫣 Like, I want my instant gratification now, not in a few months 😤

There was a comment on my last video asking if you could make a reaction wheel with liquid metal via an electromagnetic pump. Turns out, yes! Real jank setup, but looks like it works. Think I need to build an air bearing test bed next 🤔

single sided PCB, fully fabricated on my bench in under an hour using a fiber laser. i’m STOKED.

I finally got around to making an official guide for assembling the Space Shuttle solder kit. Thanks @anneb.bsky.social for the guidance! 🚀 You can still get yours in time for the holidays from @adafruit.com or from our @lectronz.com store! 🚀 blog.adafruit.com/2024/12/09/n...
