I think the green circle because it could not be made from the heart shaped cookie cutter. It still belongs though - as a color coordinate accessory! I mean just the right belt really puts a fit together. I'm a contrarian and a joiner.

We left the 100 square up, and this student used it to create a colourful design probably not what @studymaths.bsky.social had in mind for it - but that's Early Years for you!

This was kind of wonderful. This 4-yo student, probably responding to our earlier #wodb, made 4 patterns in the orange trays - and then put them all together in the white tray

In #MathsToday, we’ve defined a “pattern block coaster” to be: - a hexagon in the middle - a total area of 4 hexagons - with rotational symmetry. Have we missed any? I would buy these if they existed.
