Some attacks are more dangerous and can break the normal rules of combat, and they come with a signal to make sure you know! In this case his attack cannot be blocked, only parried. #gamedev #indiegame

Back to the basics. The barb combat felt, kinda sloppy. So I spent the last few days trying to make something that felt clean and simple. And this is the result. #gamedev #indiegame

Cleaning up combat to make it feel more consistent. Like ducking and jumping over high and low attacks actually works 100% of the time when its supposed to. #gamedev #indiegame

First look at the Demon portal master Siranna. The silly cardboard portals look better than I expected! And the demon arm that punches through is a placeholder. Also its hard to tell but her nips are covered by respectable metal modesty skulls. #gamedev #indiegame

Working on Boss stuff, but took a break to get a little closer to finishing the player barb's mobility set. These slides are executed by crouching mid dash. #gamedev #indiegame

So the first clip is a new punch animation to try and make it look more impactful. The second one below is the original. I think I might have gone a little to far with the exaggerated movement in the new one, but I don't know. What do you think? #gamedev #indiegame

Working on Balaad's attacks. Here's one where I mostly successfully dodge his attacks correctly. It's hard to show in a short little clip but the directionality of your dodges matters, because there are no i-frames. So dodge carefully! #gamedev #indiegame
