French Senator Claude Malhuret: "Washington has become Nero’s court, with an incendiary emperor, submissive courtiers and a jester high on ketamine... We were at war with a dictator, we are now at war with a dictator backed by a traitor."

"This is not limited to Australia. For example, nearly half of all Danish voters see the US as a greater threat than North Korea or Iran." – @emmashortis.bsky.social, Director of our International & Security Affairs Program. “The US’ traditional allies are looking on with trepidation & sadness."

German artist Jessica Brösche entered the USA legally. She had with her: • her German passport • confirmation of her visa waiver • her return ticket to Berlin She's been detained in immigration detention since 25Jan25 !!! Who would risk visiting the USA? #USPolitics www.kpbs.org/news/border-...

‘Free world needs a new leader’, says EU foreign chief after Trump Zelenskyy row

Claiming you’ll save money by cutting the public service is like me saying I’ll save money by cutting my grocery spend by dining out every night

wearing sunglasses, doing drugs, wielding a chainsaw recklessly…there’s not a thing on this earth that Elon Musk can’t make seem uncool.

A speck of good news: Sam Kerr has been found "NOT GUILTY" of racially harassing that police officer in the UK. Source: The Guardian Never forget: White Privilege is arrogantly believing that reverse racism actually exists.

I'm excited to have just bought tickets to see @karaswisher.bsky.social at All About Women in Sydney next month X Files! #allaboutwomen

I went to the same high school as Sam Kerr. So did two of the girls who were murdered by the Claremont serial killer. For decades, a taxi driver was the suspect. I cannot over emphasise the impact these murders had for girls who went to my school. The fear was drillled into us from 12 years old.

When an AFL player/rugby player gets in trouble for assault, drugs, rape, domestic violence it seems to just gloss over. Sam Kerr got drunk and had an argument with a taxi driver and she is made to sound like a monster. Not cool at all.

The so called “trial” in London of Sam Kerr is a farce and a disgrace. The police officer…..if that’s what your could call him….needs to find another job! This whole situation is bullshit! The UK has a million more problems than harassing and demonising Ms Kerr, cause of some wankers ego!

Dutton pumping the myth that liberals manage money and the economy better. Myth! #insiders

Brief update: Victoria Police have responded to my query and told Bounces that “no arrests were made by police,” directing back to Tennis Australia for further information on the incident. (And Tennis Australia, again, had declined to comment).

Home from Melbourne. What a couple of fabulous matches! #ausopen25

I love how Hillary Clinton couldn’t contain laughing at absolute stupidity.

I’m going to write a novel with an unreliable narrator. The first five pages will be blank because he’s late.

The one and only @punterspolitics.bsky.social has an incredible explainer of the real reason behind soaring energy prices. It's frank, funny, and a must-watch!! ⤵️

"I don’t need Peter Dutton to tell me as a Jewish person how to respond to antisemitism" Josh Burns in The Guardian. Was exactly my thought at the time ...

This man killed his wife with his car. But has plead guilty to: "an aggravated charge of creating likelihood of harm" WTF Melissa's life is not valued and this "good bloke" is believed #femicide @sherelemoody.bsky.social

Ted OBrien gives a performance as if he's in a Christmas pantomime. Soooo cringe. Imagine hitching your career 100% to a shonky nuclear policy and questioning the CSIRO's credibility 😳 #730report #auspol

Outstanding ABC #MediaWatch tonight. Host Paul Barry reminded viewers of the shocking decline in journalism standards over the last 25yrs and the cancer that is NewsCorpse. Paul Barry has been a stellar host of this important program. 👏 🙏 #JournalismMatters iview.abc.net.au/show/media-w...

Guardian: "NSW farmer fined record $1m for wiping out critical koala habitat for private airstrip larger than Sydney airport." Should have gone to gaol - zero remorse out contrition. The fine just a cost of getting his own way and quickly. #nswpol

Superb #MediaWatch tonight. Paul Barry discussed the reasons for the media's support for the Govt's #SocialMediaBan (and those who oppose it), Macca's chat with Dick Smith re #renewables and #nuclear (and the ABC Ombudsman's response). Plus Sarah Macdonald. 😔 iview.abc.net.au/show/media-w...

Excellent rebuke of both the Labor Govt and the Coalition Opposition by Independent MP Andrew Wilkie for their collusion on the Electoral Reform Bill that serves the interests of the major parties, not the people of Australia. #auspol

Ebden/Thompson win 6-4, 6-4 against Paul/Shelton, and that sends Team Australia moves into the Semis of the Davis Cup 🇦🇺 2-1 🇺🇲

ICYMI: @thejuicemedia.bsky.social prepared this outstanding Honest Govt ad explaining the major parties' desire to protect the 2 Party system. Labor and the Coalition's collusion this week to protect the duopoly is obscene. #auspol youtu.be/N3WTlyuhDs0?...

Kokk of the Walk By ranking, Thanasi Kokkinakis is Australia's 7th best singles player. In fact, the 28yo has never been higher than #65 in the world. But, when an Aussie represents his country? Look out, mate. Kokkinakis goes beast mode to defeat Ben Shelton, 6-1, 4-6, 7-6¹⁴.

Excuse the language but Juice Media break down why the got's proposed changes to electoral laws needs closer scrutiny to ensure they strengthen not weaken our democracy. Without a doubt this legislation should not be rushed thru and must be referred for a Senate Inquiry m.youtube.com/watch?v=N3WT...
