Finally getting back to this #sculpture. She's fired and I'll be using #pastels and #milkpaint to give her some additional colour. I like the #redware as a base colour.

Songbird with vines after glaze

I like how this one turned out with blue on the corvid and green on both the vines and leaves

One of my corvids on Joey's mug

If you're in the Seattle area on Sunday, we'll be at the farmers market in Ballard with these and a whole lot more. Look for Mudwood Gnomes where Arthur will be minding the booth.

Did a simple hedgehog on a mug and then used the raven stamp mold I made to make a raven / vine mug.

My second octopus mug, definitely feels like a level up

The seagull mug is glazed and fired

My tiny tumblers were glazed, fired and returned to me. I like the way this one turned out

The octopus made it back here from the studio so I could see it in person, woot!

Octopus and seagull are headed to the kiln and I can't wait to see how/if they will turn out 🤞

Magnets and a couple of mini decorated tumblers headed to the kiln

Oh happy day! They found the rock tumbler at the studio! The last time I made something like this, I went over each one with a scouring pad to remove the sharp edges. It took forever and was really messy. Enter the rock tumbler, it works cleaner, faster and even produces a better finish.

A couple of my songbirds on Joey's mugs out of the kiln and ready to go.

One of the easier clay jobs, making magnets with a stamp. I did have to design the stamp, which took more effort than using it😂

I've been working on little red ware creatures that will be glazed or some of them may end up attached to a mug or dish. My daughter does the throwing and my son does the selling and I do what I'm told, kinda 😉😄
