Black auto workers of the @UAW have been the backbone for prosperity in the U.S. (especially MI & Metro Detroit) for decades. They create a ripple effect for families & jobs outside the auto sector. Remember that, anti-car & f*** cars/war on cars folx. www.wxyz.com/news/voices/...

This needs to be repeated a lot: Part of your job as an informed citizen is to consume media critically. That means fact checking stories, sifting through bullshit, getting alternative opinions, asking questions. This applies to everyone, regardless of affiliation.

I am concerned about the Metrolink ridership trends. The Student Adventure Pass (SAP) is for SoCal college/university students to ride Metrolink free and a pilot program. It's propping farebox revenues & ridership numbers. That is not a long-term sustainable transit model.

January 2025 update on development at LA Metro’s Bunker Hill station. Developer couldn’t finance original proposal (428 units/25 stories), gave new proposal (240 units/7 stories). Metro will reject proposal and may do study on site’s development potential. boardarchives.metro.net/BoardBox/202...

LA Metro has started a feasibility study of implementing rail between North Hollywood and Pasadena. Expected to be done in 2026. Documents from bidders that competed on study contract show some initial analysis. They may consider routes that don’t always match planned BRT route.

Metrolink Reimagined seems like a clusterfuck for San Bernardino County & their riders. I side with SBCTA on accountability from the rest of the Metrolink Board. The end of express trains is a disservice. The new Montclair trains appears to prevent any ridership loss to the future Metro A Line.
