Unfiltered and feral. Would rip your ear off in a fight. Demanding better things from this world. Debating my odds at the statehouse. (Probably low, right?) ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€โšง๏ธ๐Ÿฉต๐Ÿ•ท๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฎโœจ

I grew up around these crazies. Just had the book on hand. It's all dedicated to memory whether I like it or not ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Here's what I did. I read the Bible for the tea and now I shoot down Evangelical bs by using their own book against them.

The Naziโ€™s started with drunks, homosexuals, and petty criminals to test the publicโ€™s stomach for its agenda. By the time the mass roundups began the industrialized mechanisms were too strong for the public to stop. All that remained was fear and subjugation.

With all love Canada, this are the same sentiments that created the problems we are having in the US right now. Nip that shit in the bud before it spreads like a nasty VD.

Are they assuming that we had computers in 1348 at the peak of bubonic plague? When people believed flower petals would prevent a 100% fatal illness? Are they assuming we should eat flowers? I can think of a few to feed them.

Ohhh Elonnnnn....does this mean you and your friends in DC are going to be mining too? No? Thought not. But hey, if you visit to point at us like monkeys, we'll show you the zoo. Starting with the silent canary. ๐Ÿค

Jokes on them. I left the church to devote myself to paganism. And thus, my children are being raised pagan.

All of this I say to say this. Humans are suffering every single day, in every single way, in every corner of the world. The only way to escape the darkness is to face it. Some need to be led to lightness. Some find it within. Do not let fear win.

I believe that faith and religion should not be interchangeable. I believe that the worth of your soul does not come from skin, sex, or religion, but in your doing. In your words and actions, all things are shown. I believe value comes from love offered, with no expectations attached.

A thought I believed he would never come to. But so be it, I have not yet been smote by the Big Man. I am extremely blessed with all things considered. I believe that he saw that progress lives in the hearts of those who own it. While I don't pray to God anymore, I'm not so bitter with him now.

Society teaches children to make judgements in fear. They place fear over facts. This is the definition of propaganda, of brainwashing. My father told me, "there should be no greater bond than the one between himself and God. There should be no human interference. No church can stand in for God."

I spoke to my father recently, after years of distance. He left the church, changed his thinking. Losing his children to the progressive state of mind. While imperfect, he is warming to the idea that the world simply changes. The loss of two children, two daughters, was a serious test of his faith.

When fear creeps in, I remind myself that even if I lose my life fighting for my beliefs, they will NEVER blow my spark out. Even if I lose my life and end up nameless in history, that spark will find its tooth in those who are like minded. Those who want change and equality. Who want freedom.

I have been fearfully forging a path through this darkness since the second I opened my eyes. To be half as brave as those who forged ahead of me. To be as loud as the suffragettes. To be as courageous as those who marched on the Edmund Pettus Bridge, knowing what was on the other side.

There is so much fear stitched into our society. As a teenager, I pushed every boundary I could. I fled the brainwashed flock I was forced into. I left their fearful state of mind behind. I got tattoos and openly worshiped "idols." I went to college for literature, ethics, and philosophy.

What is I, who had to die for the pain done to me? Was it those who hurt me? But I always return to one question. What strength, what BRAVERY did MLk have? What of Miep Gies? What of the Sudanese fighting for freedom? Then, the question, what fear did it take to follow Hitler into the darkness?

Even in my darkest of times, when I was sure that I would undo myself, I imagined what mark I would leave on this world. I do not demand my name to be marked in history books, remembered for generations. I only wish that the goodness I give will sprout forth and bloom into something glorious.

It broke my soul to hear of Anne Frank's suffering. I bawled for weeks. It tore my heart to shreds to hear about the Sudanese Civil War. I screamed my lungs out when gay marriage passed. A child. A teenager. I had more empathy and love to offer the world than it had EVER given me. I still do.

I was a child refusing to follow their footsteps into the darkness of fear. I had already walked through broken glass and flame to save my baby sister. I had already been homeless and starving. I was a weapon in a sea of shared enemies. I had already known suffering.

In 2007, we had mock elections, and I avidly voted for Obama. Not a soul in my class did the same. I adored the idea of diversity in politics. It sparked bravery in me that my parents and church leaders fought tooth and nail to destroy. It sparked passion on me to defy odds.

I learned about the Civil Rights in public school because although my parents were brainwashed, they couldn't afford private or homeschool options. I learned about WW1&2. I learned about Japanese Internment. I learned about Nu na da ul tsun yi. I learned about Vietnam. I learned about Sudan.
