Today’s cover of the Murdoch-owned New York Post

This x10000000000 “In other words: We, the opposition, are the majority. Take heart.” www.hamiltonnolan.com/p/they-are-a...

And who they didn't like

There have never been kings in America. The monarchy doesn't start now.

When even the New York Post has to publish this, you know you fucked up.

Front page of today's New York Post.

Governor Janet Mills, effectively told Trump, “I won’t bow down, mushroom boy!”

Senator Brian Schatz: "If you want to change an agency, introduce a bill & pass a law. You can't wave away an agency that you don't like or that you disagree with by executive order, or by literally storming into the building & taking over the servers.

You have to love it when the Judge implies that a homeless wino passed out in front of the courthouse could argue your case as well as you're doing now:

Rick breaks down Trump's major f*ck-ups this week on local, national, and international stages and explains what average Americans can do to band together and hold the line.

Here's @bluestein.bsky.social's uncensored thread of the town hall held by Rep. Rich McCormick (R-GA), in which an unhappy audience pushes back against DOGE cuts: threadreaderapp.com/thread/18927...

Trump voters wanted the rest of us to suffer to feel great again. They wanted us to experience pain. The ones crying now with "I didn't know Trump would do that" mean they didn't think it would affect THEM. But they were perfectly fine with everyone else suffering. Alas. We're all in it now.

Steve Bannon last night with a Nazi salute followed by the smug nod which says, ‘Yeah, we can do this in the open now.’

Republican Senators who voted for RFK Jr. have the best healthcare in the world, paid for by you. They don’t care about what’s going to happen to your kids, your parents, or you.

This is Arielle Pines. A military spouse who worked in the Dept. of Veterans Affairs for 15 years. She received exceptional performance reviews. She was fired last week as part of Trump’s cuts. She was a “probationer” as she’d transferred to a new office. One story amidst 1000s of lives upended.

Trump administration is planning to use polygraphs to assess federal employee loyalty. There are ways to manipulate polygraph results, and we will provide guidance to coalition members. Polygraph results are not admissible in court due to their potential for false positives and negatives.

For all my colleagues who want to be on Donald Trump's 'good side' - just remember: There's more room under the Trump Bus than on it.

Agreed, pass it on.

I got raked across the coals for this take in 2022.

He will burn down whatever he can, however he can Our systems of governance, rule of law, global alliances, even the Constitution. Consumed by vengeance and greed, he is the greatest threat to our Republic since its founding. We must meet this moment with the force of a thousand suns. Or perish.

And there it is: JD Vance saying the quiet part out loud, that the MAGA extremists are going after a national abortion ban. For those in the back, WE TOLD YOU!

Just tell them you were being metaphorical, like when the J6-ers chanted HANG MIKE PENCE and were pardoned by Trump.

Steve Bannon: “The future of MAGA is Donald Trump. We want Trump in ‘28. That's what they can't stand. A man like Trump comes along only once or twice in the country’s history. We want Trump!” This is what fascism looks like

It looks like Steve Bannon just did a Nazi salute at the end of his CPAC speech.

This is how Mitch McConnell should be remembered: Without him, there’s no President Trump right now—he had the chance to convict during impeachment and end it, but he didn’t. Without him, there’s no stacked conservative Supreme Court—you’d have more rights today.

Share if you agree! Rep. McGovern: "Maybe before coming after USAID, Republican should look at the billions and billions of dollars of tax breaks and subsidies they give to oligarchs like Elon Musk. You want to save some money? Let's start there."

Accurate 😆

"Should the court grant the motion, it would be the first lawsuit against DOGE where the plaintiffs are able to obtain evidence, albeit limited, on how Elon Musk’s faux agency is operating within the federal government." www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

Brilliant! Hostile Government Take Over Song by A Gift From Todd: www.youtube.com/@AGiftFromTodd Thanks to @lastweektonight.com for bringing this to my attention. (I don't have/use TikTok.) youtu.be/9rgHC9P7FjI?...

When FAA employees are telling us it’s not safe to fly, we should probably listen.

Holy shit, Idiocracy went from movie to real life

Spineless, yellow-bellied, lily-livered, weak-kneed, pusillanimous chickenshits.

MAGA has a bill that would disenfranchise someone you know. The SAVE Act is the GOP’s attempt at mass voter suppression disguised as an election integrity bill: indivisibleteam.medium.com/maga-has-a-b...

😵‍💫

Pathetic. Their fragile egos shattered when someone dares disagree with them or does something they percieve as a slight

Here's one of the warnings I gave in an article before the US election. It's devastating to see it all happening. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

I have no idea who the guy is, but when this fucker calls him like that I assume that it must be super honest person

I’m forcing the Senate to vote on an amendment to reverse Trump’s layoffs of thousands of critical wildland firefighters. My colleagues claim to support our first responders. Time for them to prove it.

Hey congressional Republicans, still waiting for you to announce how much you’re cutting from congress’ own $6.5 billion budget….

Please don’t turn this into ax grinding about Biden and DeJoy because, and I can’t emphasize this enough, what Trump is trying to do is illegal and being done with the goal of privatizing the USPS. You can’t use that playbook if you’re trying to make something better.

The Constitution gives Congress power to establish the U.S. Postal Service. It did, by law, during the Washington administration. Its status as an independent agency was established by Congress in law. USPS is wildly popular with the American people and its service is essential and irreplaceable.

USPS is the second most popular federal agency after the National Parks Service and just ahead of NASA. www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/...
